Powerful words and written with science fiction

I must say that this was a very interesting book from the beginning to the end. As a reader, I love books that have suspense in them and this was one book that had a lot of suspense in it. I have never read any books by this author before, and by far, this book was amazing. There is a lot going on in this book, some really cool technology, blackmail, murder, betrayal, bribes, action, drama, adventure, a little bit of everything goes on in this book. More so, with everything that goes on in this novel with the really good use of description, this book by far is a good read. Citadel of Mirrors is a refreshing, original, well constructed work that melds the genres of science fiction and the thriller in a skillful way. The characters in this novel are well thought out by the author and the description he gives is on point with each one. This book is a complex sci fi/fantasy thriller in which the threat of a shady mega corporation seeking on man’s world changing invention becomes a battle between the angels. This book had me at a aww stage with my mouth wide open in a lot of these chapters that I read throughout this book. This a great read, and I am glad that I had the opportunity to read this book as well. The author had a vivid way of describing in detail the whole book and his words really helped me as a reader to understand more about what he really was talking about. The opening statement of this book is: The past, the future vanished with a breath of mist. There was an everlasting moment of pure terror. As a reader I really enjoyed this book and I applaud 👏 the author for writing such a wonderful book. More so, I am glad to have had a chance to read this book as well. Great Job done by the author himself. 👏 🌟🌟🌟🌟. Overall this was a fantastic read.

A Refreshingly Original Well-Constructed Work

Citadel of Mirrors is a refreshingly original, well constructed work that melds the genres of science fiction and the thriller in a skillful way. It possesses well thought out, fully realized characters and depicts a future world that is not too difficult to contemplate. The development of each character is exemplary. This is especially true of Sophia Goldwater whom much of the story focuses on. Even though she is not technically three dimensional, she certainly feels like she is and it is fun to watch where the story takes her. Furthermore, Citadel of Mirrors is well plotted and takes some turns that are both surprising and intriguing. Along with these qualities, the novel is written in absolutely excellent, first-rate prose.
However, for all of its attributes, the book does have one minor flaw. It seems to dive into the world that it occupies from the first page on, a little too quickly. The novel’s characters and the world that they inhabit are introduced immediately without giving the reader a chance to catch up. This is not entirely detrimental, but when reading a science fiction story, it is beneficial at the beginning for there to be some explaining about the world that is being presented and how it came to be since it is a fantasy world that the reader cannot relate to. Initially, I was scratching my head trying to determine exactly what was transpiring in each scene. Still, this deficiency gets corrected as the book progresses and one gets swept up in the plot.
Therefore, if you like science fiction, you should read this book. If you like the escapist nature of reading about a fantasy world, you should read this. Or if you are merely interested in reading a good story that keeps you riveted to the end, you should Citadel of Mirrors. I cannot see how you could be disappointed.

I am a huge fan of sci-fi thrillers and I really enjoyed reading and adding this to my collection of books. I like the storyline as it kept me interested and was easy to follow along. There is definitely a lot to take in as the story has complex concepts but, in this day, and age, I think it fits. It has some great transitions as the story progresses and the writer does a good job of making sure that as the reader you are taken into every aspect of the plot.

The story starts off by introducing the all to common but much needed and necessary Master Evil Plan. The sci-fi aspect certainly hits the mark as a new innovative holographic technology is introduced to some very top prominent people. I think the dialogue about Hollywood and the “fake wars” was very spot on. It is nice to read so called “conspiracy” in books, the ideas and how everything was put together definitely made my tin foil hat to go off. It was very entertaining and it made my imagination go wild.

The characters are dynamic, I liked them and overall, each adds their own intriguing perspective that adds to the storyline which making for a great adventurous read. I do like when writers give back story and are able to transition to other scenes seamlessly and the writer did this very well. I do think however that the way the writer describes the characters skin colors was quite hilarious. Comparing the obvious black characters skin tone to walnuts was very hilarious to me. I would never have described it in this way…very random but I just thought it was funny. Anyway, a lot of the descriptions of the characters and scenes read more like poetry to me which was quite interesting as well.

My final thoughts, I enjoyed the book and have another author to add to my list. This is a great sci-fi thriller to add to your collection. Enjoy

Without even reading the blurb, the cover of Citadel of Mirrors is immediately intriguing. With a dark, cloudy background, the shadowy silhouette of a woman and a mysterious skyscraper seen from a distance, this book cover truly captivates the attention. The unique storyline, involving an inhuman candidate for presidency and the man who created it with love and passion, draws you in further.

This is a great sci-fi novel but I would recommend reading it when you have the time to focus. It is a complex read with various concepts to get your head around, but once you get into it you will find the writing to be fast-paced and engaging.
