Born and raised in a small town in West Michigan, she now lives in Florida with her husband. She is the proud mother of 3 wonderful children.

    I used to write out all of the recipes at the end of the book. Then Hope compiled them all into a cookbook. What a great idea. I like this 2nd cookbook, with the excerpts from the story where we first saw them. When I first opened the book, there was no table of contents, which seemed odd. I tried to look for it but, it was not there. I saw that another reviewer mentioned that the table of contents had links. When I went back, sure enough, there it was! The good thing is... I went through each and every recipe and skimmed the stories attached, which I might not have done if I had found the table of contents, first.
    The recipes look amazing. There are several that I want to try. Just curious why it is called a "Wet Burrito" as opposed to a "smothered burrito".
    I would love to see some healthier, and maybe even paleo, recipes for these ladies who are getting older and need to watch blood pressure, cholesterol, sugar, etc...

    So excited to try some of the scrumptious recipes I've been reading in Hope's series! Her cozy mysteries are always so fun to read, and they provide yummy new recipes to try in each book. I love when she puts them all in one collection, making it easier to find something new and exciting to eat while I enjoy one of her many wonderful series. The Garden Girls, Millie's cruise series, and Made in Savannah are my favorite series. Looking forward to reading the new series she plans to release soon!

    Two of my favorite things are reading and eating. Especially when it is cold, hot, or rainy outside. In this book, I can do both (read and eat). I read the recipes, put the book down, fix my meal, pick the book back up and read. Each recipe is followed by an excerpt from the book the recipe comes from. Really enjoyable read and delicious recipes.
