Very impressive! Me, I usually hate short stories, as I prefer long term relationships with fictional characters. I like a good novel series. BUT these short stories really draw you in. I was saying to myself, "just one more" many times in the same night. Very good variety, a few different stories are focused on a men in black type organization, and I found those to be excellent.

I loved this collection so much. I like that several of the stories were connected by the employees of the place that hunts the urban legends. I loved Crooked Antlers, and the ending of that story was unexpected. The last story was also unexpected.

CROOKED ANTLERS by J.G. Martin is one of the best collections I've ever read. When I find authors who can write like this, I don't understand why more readers aren't willing to try something new.

Not only are the stories terrifying and thrilling, but there are interlude stories featuring agents from The Facility who investigate Events...I freaking love this format, and I would love Martin to write a novel or novella centered on this concept.

Everything is so well-written, if I had the resources, I would produce an entire television series for Crooked Antlers.

I have both listened to a lot of and read these stories. I would do it again over and over. Dr. NoSleep Podcast sent me here basically. I loved the stories I had heard there, and when he let people know there was a book, I jumped at the chance to read it. I loved the ones about the entities and the company. The first story always makes me emotional.

Creative stories which may be drug induced, but with having cancer, reading is my favorite escape. It's great to see so many stories in one place.

The short stories in this book were great. I really enjoyed the ones about the Facility. I would like to see more of them, maybe J.G. Martin could write a full sized book.

Found this as the #3 Canadian Short Stories, and I have no regrets with trying it out seeing as he was a popular Redditor. I have no idea how the author manages to have so many ideas for stories with consistent great story telling. The set ups, the thorough descriptions, the plots. Just all of it was so easy to read, and I am not surprised by his large following. Looking forward to what the author comes up with next! The next Stephen King!

I read a lot from the author on Reddit and was excited to read this book. I was not disappointed! The stories are captivating and creative. The author captures the atmosphere very well and a lot of these stories gave me the chills. I need to admit I had to move through the house with all lights on after reading xD. Can't wait to read more!

Well-written and captivating short stories that left my skin crawling, made me question reality, or had me chuckling. The writing style and descriptors paint a vivid picture of events and remind me of Neil Gaiman. Looking forward to diving into a lengthier story or novel by this author.
