Adam Light writes stories both weird and horrifying. Most of his previous short fiction is now collected in Dreams for the Dying, published by Corpus Press in 2021. He is currently working on more.
In his head, Jason Parent lives in many places, but in the real world, he calls New England his home. The region offers an abundance of settings for his writing and many wonderful places in which to write them. He currently resides in Rhode Island.
In a prior life, Jason spent most of his time in front of a judge . . . as a civil litigator. When he wanted a change, he traded in his cheap suits for flip flops and designer stubble. The flops got repossessed the next day, and he's back in the legal field . . . sorta. But that's another story.
When he's not working, Jason likes to kayak, catch a movie, and travel any place that will let him enter. And read and write, of course--he does that too sometimes.

Mark Cassell lives on the south-east coast of the United Kingdom with his wife and many animals. His jobs have included baker, lab technician, driving instructor, actor, and was once a spotlight operator for an Elvis Presley impersonator.
As the author of the best-selling Shadow Fabric mythos, he’s written under several pen names with over 150 stories published in magazines and anthologies. Though his passion remains embedded in dark fantasy and horror, he’s written steampunk, fantasy and sci-fi, and regularly crosses the blurry lines between genres.
Most recently he’s seen publication in the children’s market. In particular, a Would You Rather game book series that has proven popular, and a successful range of pirate activity books. Mark often says how the “Pirate Thing” is a latent interest that will always astonish him.
A proud addition to his bibliography is through Caffeine Nights Publishing with the horror novel, Parasite Crop. Since signing that contract, he remains humbled in the knowledge he now shares the same publisher as one of his literary heroes from the late-1980s, a bygone time when he sneakily read novels at the back of school classrooms.
Incidentally, Mark never got caught.

I live in the historical city of York in the UK with my wife and my son. I have been writing for over 25 years. My first steps into the world of writing began with writing normal poetry, as my Dad calls it. Then I tried my hand at writing dark/horror/gory poetry. I'd read some other dark/horror poetry by some other poets and was blown away by how good it was. I posted one of my horror poems on some Facebook poetry groups to see what sort of reaction it would get and I was surprised by the positive reaction it recieved. I decided to give story writing a go and the rest is history. My stories have appeared in numerous horror anthologies. The three ebooks, Sick Twisted F*cks, APOCALYP-SICK & Death, Infection, The Devil and Jed, are available on Amazon are a collection of some my stories that appear in them. You can find these in the BOOKS section of my this page.
The Meyerstown Secret, in all, took me three years to write and is also my first real physical book (its also available as an ebook).
I have two more stories which will hopefully be getting released some time this year, one of which I have just finished writing.
My poetry can be found at https://gloriouslygory.wordpress.com
I've had so many worlds locked inside of me for so long. It was time I let them see the light of day.

Peter lives with his wife and five children in a small town in Sussex, England. For as long as he can remember it had always been an ambition to complete a novel and, after the success of his debut, The Broken Doll, it has been fantastic to have the opportunity to turn a hobby into a new career. Since the release of The Broken Doll in February 2017, Peter has released the follow-up novel, Shattered Pieces, as well as seven collections of short horror stories, a horror novella, and three children's books. Peter has had work published in numerous anthologies, is the Editor-in-Chief of Indie Writers Review, and is the co-founder of Red Cape Publishing.
I grew up in the Barossa Valley, an area of South Australia predominantly settled by German immigrants. As a dark-haired, tanned little English girl (remember Britain was at one stage occupied by the Romans), I was very different and mercilessly teased.
I remember the struggle to learn to read – painfully stringing three letter words together – there was Sam and Pam and a ball. Sometimes there was a fat cat on a mat or dog with a ball. Reading was a slow process until one birthday, I sat down with my gift, a Famous Five book by Enid Blyton. The mystery story was so exciting, I finished it in one session and I was a fast reader from that moment onwards. I loved Enid Blyton, her Wishing Chair stories, Magic Faraway Tree stories, fairy-land and toy-land stories as well as the mysteries.
A couple of years later, I discovered The Lion, Witch and Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. It was so amazing, I read it seven times in a row! Eventually, I discovered there was a whole series… I survived on this sort of fair until I was sixteen and read The Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien. That gave me a taste for mature fantasy. In search of more riveting reading, I discovered Stephen King and James Herbert. Stephen King’s Danse Macabre led me to H.P. Lovecraft, on whom I completed a Master’s project.
My Thesis entitled: THE LITERARY MANIFESTO OF H.P. LOVECRAFT: A WRITER IN SEARCH OF A THEORY (1993-1994) was completed as a reseach project which replaced several subjects in my Master of Arts through the Univeristy of New South Wales. The last chapter was considered to have the most appeal to fans of Lovecraft's work and was extracted and published as “Symbolism of Style in `The Strange High House in the Mist'", Lovecraft Studies 31, edited by S.T. Joshi, pp.11-15. (Published under the name of Cecelia Drewer).
In 1988, I wrote my first full length fictional manuscript, often scribbling on the train as I travelled from Newcastle to Sydney to attend post graduate study at university. In the year 2000, I brought my second full length manuscript into being and 2004 saw my third full length manuscript. All are very different genres and all are waiting for readers! I have always been clever at creating dialogue and in 2010, a Nativity Play I wrote was produced by a local church.
In 2016 I wrote an online course on “Poetry Appreciation and Analysis Skills” on Open Learning. The course can be found at: https://www.openlearning.com/courses/poetry-appreciation-and-analysis-skills
I also write for Weekend Notes (an online magazine) and Hubpages. My Poetry can be found on Poetry Soup at: https://www.poetrysoup.com/poems_poets/best/85098/cecelia_hopkins-drewer

Ellen A Easton is an avid reader and long time gaming and fantasy buff. She is currently published in multiple anthologies and is working on her first novel. She lives in Cochrane, Alberta with her fellow gamer and writer husband, daughter and several black cats.
I always enjoyed reading fictional worlds, but creating my own was always my passion. My Year 8 English teacher told me I should pursue writing after a short story I had written for a school project. I don't know where my love of zombies come from, but it just happened, and now it is my life.
Things changed and life moved on, but even while I was graduating from my Bachelors and Masters in Psychology, I still wrote stories and I still loved doing it. Writing is my passion, and everything else I do is a means for me to carry on with that passion.
I’m also prepared to move to a secure location at a zombie’s notice … If you’ve gotten this far, please leave me a review and message me; I love hearing what people think!

- Reviewed in the United States on January 15, 2020I couldn’t wait to get this book. I have read the other three and loved the. With this one I was not disappointed. I am sad that this will be the last one though. I never heard of a drabble until I read volume 1. What I love about how Kevin J Kennedy puts these together, is you get so many sub horror genres in one book. Anything from creatures to plane psycho crazy killing. He states that when he picks these stories that he pics the ones that he enjoys. Well all I have to say is, thank you Mr Kennedy. You have great taste and I will always trust your judgement. So if you are a fan of drabbles or are just I. The mood for a quick fun horrific read check it out. Also check out the other three volumes they are equally fantastic.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 2, 2020Too many zombies and homicidal maniacs, not enough supernatural, cosmic horror. Some mediocre writing. Mostly a collection to just pass the time.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 2, 2020Just as good as the last book
- Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2020One of the things I noticed when reading these anthologies is the placement of the stories. There is such a cohesiveness to the placement - which allows the reading process to flow evenly and with great ease. I’ve mentioned this before in one of my reviews for one of the other editions of this these anthologies, but for some reason this edition seemed to have been given even more attention to the order of the stories. The drabbles were as always brilliant, original and terrifying on many different levels. The array of talent contributing to the collection was once again stellar and included some of the finest Independent Authors out there. This is, as I’ve said of this or any anthology that has various authors, is a wonderful way to get to know authors that you may not have had an opportunity to read previously. It’s also a way to get a look at some work from authors you do know. Original, clever, sinister, eerie, spectral, shadowy, unearthly, incorporeal - just a few adjectives to describe the fantastic collection of stories found within the pages of this tome of masterful drabbles.
The Blurb: 100 Word Horrors: Book 4 brings you over one hundred new drabbles from a wealth of horror authors. Some new, some old, but all great. Each and every one of us hope you have a blast with the final instalment in the series.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 4, 2020I enjoyed this so much! These little stories were a fast read and fun, I loved being able to open the book and take a few minutes to read a few stories and enter a new world. Quality stories in a few words - and if you like horror like I do, I was really impressed with the imagination, twists and even the disturbing stories that people were able to write in such few words - to leave an impression on you in 100 words, so cool!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2020Who knew that 100 words could evoke so much horror? This anthology is the fourth and personally speaking, the best. The authors in combination with the skills of Kevin J Kennedy, make this book a marvelous read. I read an ARC of this book.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2020What a fun book of horror! From the cover, all the way to the Editor's choice of stories gathered, Kevin Kennedy does it again. Collecting one hundred stories, one hundred words each. A variety of authors deliver monsters, demons, murderers situations that can only serve to scare the dickens out of you! There is sure to be a number five!

4.0 out of 5 stars lots of awesome 100 word stories
There are some awesome stories, in this book, but even my least favourite story was still good, I would recommend reading in a bit at a time, so the stories have time to sink in.

5.0 out of 5 stars Final drabble.
Mixed emotions about this book. Loved reading it. The quality of stories were just as good as the first in the series. I managed to get involved this time and get a drabble published my first published work. So I am proud of this. Sad that this is the final in the series, I love dropping into these drabbles when out and about or at work. Being transported somewhere different in 100 words, different tales. Scary, deep, sad, happy, a wide range of emotions stirred up from very short stories. As with Friday 13th part 4: Final chapter it wasnt really over and we got 6 more installments and spin offs and remakes. I wait with baited breath for the open submissions to book 5, Drabbles the return.
