Overview

Nick Roach, author of two books: Enlightenment, The Simple Path and Essays in Truth, Glimpses into Reality, describes being driven to find the cause - and indeed an end - to the emotional suffering that everyone around considered normal and natural. At the age of only eighteen he found the teachings of a Western Spiritual Master, and with total dedication he began to consciously face and dissolve the negative emotion as he'd been taught.

This story describes a truly incredible journey, with experiences and insights, realisations and self-knowledge, all steadily deepening as Nick progressed with amazing speed, sinking into the levels of 'Being' which are usually associated with traditional gurus and spiritual teachers of the Eastern religions.

But there is no-one to follow here, and nothing to believe in. This book, above all, is a story of self-growth and personal development. Any mystery is simply due to so few people actually reaching the end.

But the end of what...?

...That is the story.

About the Author

Having had an emotionally difficult time in childhood, at 17 years old Nick Roach demanded of life that he be shown a reason for it all. A short while later he found the teachings of a Western Spiritual Master who taught that one is responsible for the circumstances of their own life, as well as for how they feel about it. And Nick quickly learnt the process of facing and dissolving emotion as a means by which one can realise the truth or love behind it: their own true nature.
Having had many insights, experiences and spiritual realisations, Nick entered the experience known as Enlightenment or Self-Realisation as he was turning 30 years old. Yet, even after this, the challenges of life continued, until Nick entered a new phase as he approached 40 years of age.
This book is his story.
