What begins as a quest to save another man’s wife and child turns into something else entirely when Billy finds himself traveling with the escaped Nina. Through what can only be explained as a twist of fate, Billy and Nina are forced to marry.

Neither is exactly thrilled about this arrangement. After all, Nina just escaped from her Indian captors, and Billy was betrothed to another woman.

Their story is anything but ordinary and is fraught with twists and turns.

Will Billy and Nina find happiness together, or will he leave her for Callie, the woman he has promised to marry?

    I was most thrilled with this story of Billy and Nina, I think because I could relate more with both of them than any of the other characters.

    As I've said before I'm married to a man who is part Cherokee and I felt like I wasn't good enough for him, it took me a long time to realize how much he loves me, as much as I loved him.

    We went through so many horrible things but have stuck together and fought hard to not let others and problems drive us apart as they did when we first met. 1967 we were to be wed but his mother broke us up.

    We were separated for 8 years, each married someone else, we were miserable, both our marriages were filled with horror. Through it all we never stopped loving each other even though we had no contact in all those years.

    Finally in 1975 he contacted me, found we both still loved each other and were married in May, we went through much heartache but we as I said fought for the right to be together. We've been married for 40 years and our love continues to grow.

    There is so much more that I could say but this is not about us, I just wanted to say how much this story touched my heart. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK! I know if you have a tender heart you will too. Please read this series from the beginning so you will fully understand who everyone is.

    I just hope there will be more books in this series! I'd love to know more about what happens to Shadow, Marvin, Lucky, and the others. I'm so pleased that Shadow isn't being hid any longer. Enough said, you want to know more read the series, I know you'll love them too.

    This story of Billy and Nina was amazing. I have love Billy from the beginning and felt for all he was going through. Nina was a perfect match for him because she could bring out and show him what he couldn't see in himself. I feel for Lucky and Otto and hope that I. The near future he will have a new love. I love all the characters in this series and Thad has a special place in my heart. He needs a good ending too. The many story lines in this book was Awesome. The fear, love, loyalty, old and good friendships were surprising and the changes in The Earnest Brothers. I can't wait to see what happens in the next story. This is a must read Nd I highly recommend this book and author.

    As I have lived in Montana my entire life I gravitate toward books that are set in our beautiful state. This series has great humor and plenty of suspense to keep you wanting more. I hope this isn't the end of the story. Lucky needs a new happily ever after as well.

    I just finished this one and OMG, the twists and turns you take us through on this book, the hope and pain, you could have stopped half way through this book and called it good but by adding all the rest it you made it Great. We get to watch not 1 couple but 4 discover their possible loves, it's a tale of Tolerance, Love, Redemption, Sacrifice, Faith and Determination. I already loved your Westward series and now I am in love with the Echo series. This is one of the best you have Ever written and i can't wait for more. Now I'm glad they got that twin, Evan does have plan I believe, though Marvin did save his life. The town is coming along, cultures are something else, there are some terrible people out yet today to ruin someone's everything!!!! Loved it!!!!

    Onto book three. I'm enjoying these books immensely. I love the way that all the characters are drawn along with the story instead of skipping back and forth like some other books do. I often find it annoying to have to flick back through a book to find out about someone who's being referenced. It also makes it easier to understand the emotions and conversations the characters have without having to remember who did what when. Altogether so far a thoroughly entertaining set of books. I hope this continues.
