Writing is a labor of love for Linda Bridey, whose works are consistently on several top 100 best-selling romance book lists. Since starting her writing career in earnest, Linda has written thirty-seven books and counting, which have gained great popularity. Readers are drawn to her vivid writing of mail-order bride and historical romance stories, many of which deal with social issues, and always include humor and heart.
Her Westward series, which includes twenty-three books, is set in Dawson, Montana. When the series ended, her readers wanted more of the characters they'd come to know and love--so much so that it prompted her to create the Dawson Chronicles, which picks up the stories of many of the descendants of the original characters, but can also be read as a stand-alone series.
Linda's Echo Canyon series, tells the story of a small Montana town on the verge of extinction after the collapse of the mining industry in the region. It shows the ingenuity of the Echo's inhabitants in how they come together to save the town they love. All is not always as it seems in Echo with mystery, suspense, and romance abound!
Linda encourages readers to sign up for email alerts about her new releases at www.lindabridey.com and appreciates it when readers leave honest reviews on her books.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 14, 2015I was so intrigued by this story. I'm happy for LuLu that she finally came to her senses and realized that she was marrying the man she loved not to please either set of parents but to please herself.
I'm excited about Arrow and Vanna falling in love and I do hope that their story and wedding will be next, as well as Gino and his brother with Chelsea.
I was horrified that Arliss was killed and almost stopped reading, I was so mad and upset. I hoped that you were working it out as a plot for him to get completely out of his undercover work. But when his parents and Win and Martin went to his funeral I was devastated! And the letter to Andi cinched it.
I couldn't believe you won't let her love that she finally gave freely end that way especially after her and Wild Wind's romance didn't work out.
You can imagine my delight and joy when Arliss showed up to Andi! In my heart I just knew he was real, not an image! Thank you for not letting him really be dead! I love you for that.
Now I do hope you continue their story and allow them in o get married without more drama, they have b en through enough. Keep the story going, I'm addicted! Don't you think it's time for Spike to find someone to love, what about Arliss's grandmother, or is he not old enough? Just thinking.
Very beautiful story, thank you.
Starr

- Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2018Montana Christmas is a part of the author's Echo Canyon historical Western romantic-adventure series, as the story continues to expand with new characters while old ones get into new mischief. Some of the reality was dialed back for fun, and indeed, it was fun.
Sal Terranova had fun after negotiating deals for his family. But when his liaisons ended up with him and a married woman (who lied about being single) and was spotted by one of the family's business partners, his parents gave him a choice: reform, or get written out of the will. Sal was ready to move out until his brother came up with a plan... why not a mail order bride? And there came Lulu Johansson... who's beautiful and exciting, and Sal forgot all about other women, but then his reputation came back to haunt him. in the meanwhile, the other characters in Echo Canyon, assisting a covert government agent, ran into even more trouble...
This is a part of the author's Echo Canyon historical western series, where existing characters find love, old characters get into even more trouble, and so on. I'm skipping a couple books (those ain't free) so I missed some of the plots. And the language seems to be REALLY MODERN instead of historical, but it's fun.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 10, 2015This story belongs to many. Sal Terranova is given an ultimatum by his family and must settle down and marry or lose his inheritance. He sends out for a mail order bride with some goading from a brother and meets Lulu. Then things get interesting. While all this is happening Sal's sister meets Arrow, cheyenne brave, and another romance is sparked. For those who have read the previous books in the series, Arliss/R.J./Blake or Triple A as I call them make their trip to deal with the mystery of who they are, what they do, and who is after them. Danger, mystery, pranks, and intrigue follow. I laughed so hard my stomach hurt and cried till i had to get tissues . Once again Linda has taken us on a whirlwind adventure through the town of echo. Drawing us in, making us feel like we are a part of the town and family.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 21, 2019I love this book series. I have read all but two of the books. I would consider them to be clean historical romances. I love the characters and how each character in the books intertwines with the other characters in the other books. You can read them independently but I love reading them in order. I have read most of them twice and anticipate reading them again. They are well written books with a few grammatical errors but nothing that detracts from the books themselves.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 10, 2015Funny is Arrow declaring his love and learning the English way.
Exciting the suspense with Win, Marvin, Blake, RJ and A.
Heartbreaking the distention between Terranova and Johansson families.
Devastating were the news Andi got.
Wonderful was Sal and Lulu love for each other.
An incredible roller coaster of emotions for Echo Canyon new and old citizens.
I loved it, again an amazing job done by Linda Bridey

1.0 out of 5 stars It is a sequel.
Again we get to know I depth some characters that have been hovering in the background. I feel it gets more bizarre as the books move on.
