Writing is a labor of love for Linda Bridey, whose works are consistently on several top 100 best-selling romance book lists. Since starting her writing career in earnest, Linda has written thirty-seven books and counting, which have gained great popularity. Readers are drawn to her vivid writing of mail-order bride and historical romance stories, many of which deal with social issues, and always include humor and heart.

Her Westward series, which includes twenty-three books, is set in Dawson, Montana. When the series ended, her readers wanted more of the characters they'd come to know and love--so much so that it prompted her to create the Dawson Chronicles, which picks up the stories of many of the descendants of the original characters, but can also be read as a stand-alone series.

Linda's Echo Canyon series, tells the story of a small Montana town on the verge of extinction after the collapse of the mining industry in the region. It shows the ingenuity of the Echo's inhabitants in how they come together to save the town they love. All is not always as it seems in Echo with mystery, suspense, and romance abound!

This book is the ninth book in the Echo Canyon Brides Series. This book is well writer, humorous, and the characters are very interesting, especially Arliss and Andi. I enjoyed the book very much. It's not the
Christian fiction I usually read but it was clean and entertaining.
Gino Terranova is a member of a large Italian family. He really wants to get married but most women only see his wealth. He puts an ad in the paper for a wife. After writing for some time he asks Carrie to come be his bride but when she arrives he is shocked to find that she has a six year old daughter she failed to mention. Not only is this a surprise but the girl is crippled from a bout with polio. Did she just come for his money? This is not what he bargained for but the little girl soon steals his heart and that of his family. Does Carrie have any other secrets that could destroy their relationship?
Carrie Sheenan is an accountant. She is widowed and left with a child. She must escape from her husband's corrupted family. She is desperate when she starts writing to Gino. When he asks her to come she jumps on the first train out of town. She mustn't him know about the family that is trying to force her to marry her husband's brother.
A journey of two desperate people; one seeks love and family while the other needs security. Secrets make it difficult to trust but their hearts are soon involved. They must find a way to become the family they both dreamed of.

I could hardly believe myself, I started this book late last evening and just kept reading it, I couldn't put it down. It's now 2:52 am.

Wow so many plots in this one. I was tickled pink that Arless and Andi finally got married without any difficulties this time. It was so sweet that her father married them.

Then for Gino to finally find someone in Carrie. What a shock about her daughter but worse why she fled from her dead husbands family. They sure went through some mighty ruff times before finally getting married.

Otto's running away sure was scary but quite understandable. I felt that you were hinting that when he grew into manhood he might rebel, I sure hope not. If he does I hope it's only for a short time because I'd love to see him and Fiona fall in love and get married.

Talking about people falling in love, how about making it Bea and Andi's father. And what about Spike? Why not Arliss' grandmother?

Wonderful about little Serena's birth, and Vanna's pregnancy. Next book should be plenty of babies. Arliss and Andi's, Nick and Maura's, Gino and Carrie's, wild Wind and his wife's, and how about another for Win and his wife, Marvin and his wife, Lucky and his wife. And so many more.

See you have many people to have babies.

My question is who in the world is this serial killer going to turn out to be and why? Looking to many many more books from you about these people I've fallen in love with.

I loved this book as I have loved all of Linda's books. They are clean, beautiful romance books with a whole lot of other good stuff mixed in too. Linda builds her characters so well, they are easy to love. She has a wonderful sense of humor that shines through in her books. I really never read historical novels until I read the back of one of Linda's books. It was the Westward series with Tessa and Dean. It sounded good and it was free so I got it. It was so wonderful, I went on to get all of the rest of that series and then read her other stuff. Linda is an amazing author. I highly recommend everything she has written.
