- Reviewed in the United States on September 3, 2020If this book doesn’t make you laugh, cry, put it down a few times then nothing will. Tasha, a survivor of an abusive marriage, takes a job as the PA to Scott CEO. Scott is reserved and rather mysterious but handsome, hard working and a good boss. We
find out that he had feelings almost immediately but because Tasha continues to wear her wedding ring as a reminder he did not act on them. Scott was the best hero I have “met” in a while. He lost his family in an accident but is now open for love. Unselfishly and also sweetly he tries to give that love to Tasha. Because of her experiences with her abusive husband Tasha is reluctant to take what he is offering. I won’t retell the story but I will say that it had everything that was needed to make for compelling storytelling. Ms. Garner, the only thing missing was Scott’s voice. You did a lovely job of telling the story from Tasha’s perspective but please consider letting us hear the male’s voice in your next story, too. Thank you.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 17, 2019Loved the story line. Loved the characters. I also loved how the author made reference to an abusive relationship. Maybe readers will recognize warming signs in their relationship. It was a good read, I enjoyed it very much
- Reviewed in the United States on March 16, 2021It was what I expected from an "adult" novel. Cute story line, likable characters. However, the timeline was weird. She joined the company and in the next chapter it was the Christmas party. Was Christmas the next week? A few months later? Had several weeks passed? That made it confusing for me.
Also, I know its a romance novel so normal society rules don't apply - but the boss/employee relationship made me cringe a little. Part of the reason why I stopped reading 50SoG after the 1st book.
I will definitely buy another book though because I was able to relax while reading it and the momma was funny!
- Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2017What a wonderful story of two people so badly hurt by lost love , humiliation and despair. The paths we take to growth and understanding often force us to confront that which we feared most. Such was the case for Tasha as she began her journey to her best self. Forced to confront her demon ex husband and overcoming the restraints under which she had suffered while she was married to him. Nearly returning to that wretched state in order to escape the pain which she thought would continue to overshadow her own desires, she is strengthened by Scott's love for her as well as that of her parents. Scott and she are finally able to come to an understanding and their love blossoms. A heart warming and e powering story. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I highly recommend it to everyone over eighteen.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 12, 2015Let me just say this book was a breath of fresh air. I was so entertained that I spent most of the night and part of the morning reading it. As a matter of fact, finishing the book in one sitting. I'm exhausted but it was well worth the lack of sleep! Executive Decision was a well written, completely flushed out, romance novel. Might I also add that it was HOT! The intimacy scenes within the book did not seem forced but were worked flawlessly into the flow of the book. This was my first introduction to this author but I'm already adding her to the list of authors I'll 1-click. Yes...it was that good!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2022I really liked Scott's personality, but I got annoyed with Tasha. She acted like she was all that, and then got upset when Scott didn't pay her any attention. She could not handle that, so she came onto him. So indecisive! He let her know that he was interested, but she constantly played hard to get! So annoying, but I liked that they got their happy ending!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 18, 2015Sometimes you just want to read a story without all of the over hyped sex scenes and ridiculous dialogue that most people never say when they are in the heat of the moment. I honestly find myself skipping over what so many writers use in a pathetic attempt to cover their true lack of skill - writing a romance story with good character development and a solid and entertaining story line that pulls you in. Thanks to this author for showing that you can present an entertaining story without over the top raunchiness. The simple hint of a sexual encounter is sufficient for this reader to use my own imagination to create my own visual. I hope more authors will generate more 'clean' IRR stories for readers such as myself. Don't get me wrong, a bit of eroticism is fine and enjoyable when it is done tastefully and not in excess.

5.0 out of 5 stars that she was going to let a good man get away from her
I have had this book for over a year and finally got around to read it.
This is scott and Tasha's story. Tasha was in an abusive marriage so she was not ready for what Scott could bring to her life. I did want to slap her through the story several times because she kept blowing hot and cold with Scott because she was desperate not to make another mistake and way too concerned about what other thought about their relationship, that she was going to let a good man get away from her.
The story was from her prospective. I really loved Scott he was a good solid man who stood by her even when she was acting the fool.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Read
Tasha and Scott's story is about two individuals that have experienced life has been difficult for them individually in the past but they are learning to look towards a positive future. Their story is emotional in parts and you want the best for them. It is refreshing to read a story about an imperfect billionaire. Although this is surprisingly a BWWM couple apart from a single reference to Tasha's skin colour their is no other indications that this is a BWWM romance

3.0 out of 5 stars Hated the female character
I am tired of reading books that let the woman be stupid and not go for what they want. Come on we all know good sex is good for you but all this no good decision making and doubting yourself is crap
