4.0 out of 5 stars Good career guide for people at crossroad
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis is a nice survey based book from experienced leaders in financial crime compliance around the world. A few people shared insights related to sanctions screening and FCC profession being 'thankless' sometimes that are especially impressive as they are deeply meaningful and solid. Sometimes I can truly 'read between the lines' and relate to experience shared by those leaders. Although I'm no longer in this area, this book helped me validate my decision retrospectively and I still appreciate the professionals who entered and stayed because of the societal goods rather than personal gains.
I guess one limitation of it is that a lot of people surveyed are still in this industry/company/job function so the critical aspects of working on FCC is a bit underweighted which is something to keep in mind for aspiring FCC professionals.
