I was already intrigued by the unique premise, but the emotion of this one is so deep and rich that I lived every second of Lottie and Logan's story alongside them. I’m really at a loss for words to tell you just how amazing this story is. Lottie and Logan's love is pure and sweet, breathtakingly beautiful, and one of the most epic I’ve ever experienced.
Because this book is not something you just read. It’s an experience of soul-deep proportions, and you feel every scene and every emotion as though it’s your own as it masterfully manipulates your own heart strings. Stunning, spellbinding, and unparalleled, this phenomenal read easily makes it on my list of top five reads for this year. Charlotte is a woman with the weight of the world on her shoulders. She is working at a job that she hates and the stress is wearing on her. The only joy she has is when she hears a man playing music in the subway. Logan is the musician who lovingly plays his guitar in the subway. He is not in it for the money but for the beautiful woman with the sad eyes. After a particularly challenging day, Charlotte goes to the subway and sits on her bench to hear Logan play when she accidentally falls asleep. When she wakes, is the first time they speak to one another. You can feel the chemistry between these two characters bleeding through the pages. The more time they spend together, their lives begin to change. This is one powerful storyline that is crafted so well, it will get under your skin. The love that Charlotte and Logan have for each other, gives them the strength to conquer any obstacle in their path and move forward. I highly recommend this book. I volunteered to read a copy of this book.
