This series is complete and utter perfection and I’m falling even more in love with the girls of Rise with every book I read. Cara Wade is a new to me author, but after reading Addison and Ethan’s story I’ll definitely be going through her catalogue and reading her books.
I’ve been intrigued by Addison since reading about her in the novella ‘RISE’ which set the scene for the Sin and Secrets series. She’s dealt with things that nobody should have to, but it seems she’s come out on the other side. Yes she has secrets and her past isn’t something she’s necessarily proud of. But she loves both of her jobs and she’s the epitome of strength and resilience!
And Ethan, wow I did not expect the side of Ethan that we got when he and Addison finally made it to the bedroom! He’s successful and alpha and freaking dreamy. Yes he has flaws, but hot dang the two of them together are FIRE and their story is heartbreaking and heartwarming all at the same time!
The two of them separate are amazing characters, but together they bring out another side of each other that is perfection. Everything about this story pulled me in, I read it in one day because I couldn’t put it down. The secrets, the tension, the passion, just everything was fantastic! I love that we got to catch up with Magnolia and Everleigh, and I really love that we got a little more of Eden. I’m so excited for the next book in this series!!

I enjoyed reading this story so much, I was hooked from page one. Honestly this series just keeps getting better and better. Now is the turn for Addison's story and let me tell you the level of hotness of this book is off the charts. Ethan is my new book boyfriend lol. Addison has a tragic past and she has guarded her heart from heartbreak. By night she is Madam Ember, co-owner of Rise along with her best friends and during the day she is an executive assistant to the most hot boss out there Ethan. The sensual tension between them will melt your panties, but besides that their chemistry in and out of the office is perfection. I don't want to go too much in to detail because you need to read this book and the entire series, but be prepare because this story has drama, secrets, sensual tension, friendship, forgiveness and really so much more. Can't wait for the next book!!!
