About the Author

LINDA CHALK has been writing romances for as long as she can remember. She has completed one historical romance set in the backdrop of the California gold rush. A second one is in progress. She loves to read about American history especially the old west, and researching all the interesting stuff high school history class left out. Her family often claims that she was born in the wrong century.

Judy Carpenter, writing as ANN GREGORY, lives in Cherry Grove, a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio, with her husband Bill and Zacc, a gray and white tom cat. When she's not writing, Judy enjoys painting, sewing, quilting, and traveling with Bill.

DAKOTA JAMES started writing fiction as a young girl when a beloved teacher encouraged her to write ghost stories around Halloween. Dakota quickly switched from writing horror to romantic fiction when she wrote such frightening paranormal stories that she ended up spooking herself. Now, she sleeps better at night writing contemporary romantic stories as opposed to writing about gangsters turning into vampires in a cornfield on the eve of Halloween.

STACY McKITRICK fell in love with paranormal romance, decided to write her own in 2009, and found her passion in life. She used to work in accounting, now she spends her time with vampires, ghosts, and aliens. Born in California, she currently resides in Ohio with her hus-band. They have two grown children.

SANDY PENNINGTON is an admitted word obsessor. She just can't leave some words or characters alone! Myths, legends and the natural world fuel her imagination. Her favorite thing is curling up with a good book and poring through a dictionary. She gratefully acknowledges her friends and family for the love and inspiration that comes her way.

JENNETTE MARIE POWELL writes time travel and science fiction romance. A life-long resident of Dayton, Ohio, she likes to dig beneath the surface and find the extraordinary beneath the mundane, whether in people, places, or historical events. By day, she wrangles data and websites between excursions to search for the aliens and spacecraft that legends say are stashed away on the military base where she works.
