4.7 out of 5 stars 484 ratings

A deranged, vicious psychopath has gone on a child-killing spree in London. MI5 thinks the killer might be connected to the secret Nabatean society. They call in the world’s expert on the Nabateans, Carter Devereux. While Carter is in London, working with MI5 and the police, his children are on holiday with their grandparents in Greece and they get abducted. It soon becomes clear that the London psychopath has moved his base of operations. Carter calls in help from his friends at Executive Advantage, a group of Special Forces experts, to help him find and rescue his children. Racing against time, there’s nothing that Carter Devereux and his Special Forces friends won’t do to save his children. But Carter and his friends are about to learn that the labyrinth is not just a maze, but also a deadly threat. THE LABYRINTH OF MINOS is a full-length novel, a nail-biting suspense-thriller the fifth book in the Carter Devereux series, the sequel to The Nabatean Secret.

A CAN'T PUT DOWN, UNTIL THE VERY END!!
Carter and Mackenzie make a device to be able to talk with the Dolphins! They find out, that one of the Dolpin family they connected with has been kidnapped and being held in the Labyrinth on Crete.
There's a serial killer on the loose, and kidnaps Liam and Beth! They are being held in the Labyrinth also. Carter and Sean are injected with the Respirocyte Generators, to enable them to swim thru the Labyrinth to save the Dolphin and the Devereux children.
Will they also find the fabled Minotaur??? You will have to read to find out....LOL.

The book is really ever well written, but the subject matter can really get to you. Is Ahab such a cruel psycho path because he was experimented on and no one cared about him or did the experimentation cause him to be this way. Carter and Mackenzie continue to make really exciting and beneficial breakthroughs mankind along with the good uses for such things there are always wants to use it for evil. Enjoyed the book as much as the other four even though it was hard to get through the torture and murder of innocent children bad the kidnapping of th e dolphin and the Devereaux children.

The villain in this story is super human and even more evil. This psychopath kidnaps Carter and Mackenzie's children when they are vacationing in Greece with their grandparents. With Mackenzie's help, Carter and his friends at Executive Advantage go to unbelievable lengths in their attempts to rescue the children. Turn off your phone, suspend your disbelief, and go somewhere you can sit and read without interruption. It is a real page-turner. I have enjoyed the entire series and eagerly await the next book.

Another outstanding series by JC. There is so much knowledge to be learned from reading this series, although knowing not all is true is disappointing to say the least. But again, the way it was written, you could swear it was all true. I highly recommend this author to anyone who enjoys reading scientific thrillers. 5 Stars definitely all the way.
