He's written over 200 stories that are currently available, including crime thrillers, supernatural thrillers, horror, zombies, contemporary fiction, nonfiction and more. His goal is to write a good story and not worry about genre labels.
He also loves to talk in third person... because he's really that cool. Maybe.

Thomas M. Malafarina (www.ThomasMMalafarina.com) is an author of horror fiction from Berks County, Pennsylvania. To date he has published seven horror novels “What Waits Beneath”, "Burner", “From The Dark” , “Circle Of Blood”, “Dead Kill Book 1: The Ridge of Death”, “Dead Kill Book 2: The Ridge Of Change” and “Dead Kill Book 3: The Ridge Of War”. He has published seven collections of horror short stories; “Thirteen Deadly Endings”, “Ghost Shadows”, “Undead Living” “Malaformed Realities Vol. 1, Vol. 2 and Vol. 3” and most recently “Horror Classics”. He has also published a book of often-strange single panel cartoons called "Yes I Smelled It Too; Cartoons For The Slightly Off Center". All of his books are published through Hellbender Books, an imprint of Sunbury Press.(www.Sunburypress.com).
In addition, many of Thomas’ stories have appeared in anthologies and e-magazines. Some have been produced and presented for internet podcasts and radio plays as well. Thomas has shared anthology pages with some of the biggest names in horror fiction such as Jack Ketchum, Joe Lansdale, Jonathan Maberry and Luck McKee to name a few.
Thomas is best known for the twists and surprises in his stories as well as his descriptive, often gory passages. Thomas is also an artist, musician, singer and songwriter. A native of Ashland, PA he now lives in Western Berks County, Pennsylvania along with his wife JoAnne.
One dreary October a few years ago, I came across a mangled legal pad in a box of other things I owned. It was a hand written manuscript, unfinished, from a number of years earlier. I had attempted National Novel Writing Month and failed spectacularly. But as I sat there, reading the old story, something occurred to me: it wasn't all that bad.
Now, this isn't me telling you that I was a born writer, but I definitely had something there. It was a decent idea that had relatable characters - realistic characters, I thought. But it certainly needed work. I considered, it being October, to prep it and myself for November.
Far be it from me to accept such a simple challenge, I decided to do something completely fresh, and unplotted for NaNoWriMo... so I did.
Empty Hallways came out that following year, my first successful NaNoWriMo. And I have continued the tradition since, successfully completing a number of manuscripts via NaNoWriMo and launching them as quickly as I, my editor, and my cover artist can get our ducks in a row.
So far, I have participated in 3 anthologies; published two novels: Empty Hallways - a horror novel about a man whose grief calls forth a unsettled spirit from the past, and House of Thirteen - the first installment in a series about immortals who are slowly discovering they are not the only anomaly hiding in the mortal world;and most recently, I have launched a 12-part serial: At Calendar's End, which explores the beings that keep time moving forward, and the horror that awaits them when an equally ancient being decides to hunt them down one by one.
On the docket, I have plans for another House of Thirteen installment, my own anthology of short stories, a psychological thriller, and a horror novel based on that old, earlier-mentioned manuscript: Threshold.
At some point, I would also like to write a children's book.
I always enjoyed reading fictional worlds, but creating my own was always my passion. My Year 8 English teacher told me I should pursue writing after a short story I had written for a school project. I don't know where my love of zombies come from, but it just happened, and now it is my life.
Things changed and life moved on, but even while I was graduating from my Bachelors and Masters in Psychology, I still wrote stories and I still loved doing it. Writing is my passion, and everything else I do is a means for me to carry on with that passion.
I’m also prepared to move to a secure location at a zombie’s notice … If you’ve gotten this far, please leave me a review and message me; I love hearing what people think!

Katie Jaarsveld was born in America. She had an imagination and though she was continually writing something, she was not published until later in life.
Having the support of family members as well as her husband, she finished stories she had written years earlier and brought them to life.
Being encouraged by fellow authors gave her the courage to chase her dreams and become one of the published.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 7, 2020I liked the different types of stories in this series. There were a few topics that I haven't yet read about before. I would have given this a 5, but there were some grammatical errors that distracted me from the action.
