I can still picture today the evangelist's face leaning in to me, telling me to go home and work on my faith as if I was a disappointment to him. His measuring stick of faith was based on a miracle that, in reality, I didn't need to be made whole. The miracle he was trying to work up wasn't one that was intended to bring the kingdom a soul. Where in the Word of God does it say that believers are to show disappointment when people are content with what they are given, such as their physical forms, like I was? Where in the Bible is it acceptable to teach another believer that their body is unacceptable as it is, and their body becomes the focus of correction rather than the condition of their soul? My physical body was incomplete, but my soul was being completed in Him.
