Marvel Mage (The Night Realm: Magic Marked Book 2) Kindle Edition

4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,172 ratings

Now the spells are mine…

I used to say I worked better under pressure…I was wrong. This countdown clock on my arm might just break me.

Stellan is missing. Someone stole him from me. They ripped him right out of my hands and hid him somewhere I can’t find. I’m desperate to save my soulmate but Second Realm is dying…without me, they have no chance but neither does Stellan. I’m being torn in two and I don’t know if I can help them both.

The only chance we have, is if I recreate the Astral Stone. But to do so, I have to brew a potion full of ingredients that are literally out of this world. The angels are sending me on a perilous journey to beg the other realms for help. And they all want a trade. Vampires want my blood, Shifters want my power, and the Fae want my life. Jumping realms was something I thought I’d only see in movies or comics, but it’s real. It’s dangerous. And it comes with a price. For Stellan, I’ll pay anything.

But If this clock hits zero, my time is up…and Second Realm will die.

And it will be all my fault.

Another incredible book that kept me at the edge of my seat, screaming, laughing, crying and just not able to put it down.
All I can say is I love ❤️ this book!!!!
I can’t wait to start the next book.. I have been so busy with teaching 6th grade virtual math that I had not been able to read lately, but this book just reminded me what I have been missing out on.

I definitely recommend this book to everyone, and also every book by these two incredible authors. 🙌♥️💙💞💜

Love these books by these incredible two ladies and every book is a must... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ always five stars never fail to deliver.

But in this series they most certainly ARE, even if magical races don’t get their references. I am loving this collaborative world Candelle and Megan have created here. Nerdy women of the world, ASSEMBLE! Because this book is for US. Complete with Star Wars, LOTR, HP, and Marvel references. So much awesome, so much adventure, with a little romance. Dreams coming true here, people! Can’t wait for the next book in this series, it’s amazeballs like white truffle fries. And if you don’t get that reference you need to read Candelle’s various Coven series seasons and novellas ASAP. Also, get yourself some white truffle French fries because you haven’t lived til you’ve tried those either... aaand now I’m hungry.

We jump right in to the cliffhanger from the previous book and take a head frost dive into a non-stop action packed plot. We cover a lot of ground with a heavy dose of world building that I can’t wait to see expand in the following seasons. Stellan and Ellie have a lot to work through as they are still getting to know each other and someone is plotting against them. They hit a few snags as the twists keep coming including some surprise family members along the way. I can’t wait for the end of their journey and hop into the next.

Marvel Mage is the second book in the Night Realm: Magic Marked series by the dynamic bestie duo Chandelle and Megan. If you haven’t read Midnight Mage you may not want to continue reading this review, as there will be spoilers. Consider yourself warned.

This one starts off literally where Midnight Mage ends, Stellan is taken and Ella is on her way to the fourth realm. She ends up in the fourth realm and Stellan in a completely different realm all together. How did this happen? Well to be honest, Stellan freaking threw Ella into the elevator for the fourth realm. Second realm comes first and they have to save it, you can only use the ring once so onward Ella goes.
Ella is awesome, she has no problem throat punching today in the face if that is what it takes. She finds several unlikely allies in the fourth realm. Although she does get tricked a time or two. While she is there, she mentions Nickle a few times, making me wonder if the next trilogy will involve Nickle and the fourth realm. I really really hope so. I love how she asks the right questions! She doesn't take things at face value and she does questions without shame.

Stellan once abducted is put in a cage, where he has to watch what is going on with his soulmate. However like most shows, this one is edited... a lot. Let's just say that mistakes were made and then aired on the television. Which causes Stellan to pull away from Ella, understandably.

I have so many questions that need answers, and I am banking on those answers not coming any time soon. Most of my questions have to do with the realms that they visited, and the characters that were introduced. Between the vampire, shifter and fae realms, they got several out of the way. Ingredients were found, alliances may have been made as well as some enemies. Fae are especially tricky folks.

For the love of all that is holy!!! Marvel Mage was a roller coaster ride with all the feelings! Ellie completely brought her A game, Savina was a kick ass princess, and Stellan made me love him all over again. Those of you who are about to start this one: get your snacks, ready, clear your schedule because you about to go on one wild wild ride.

TBH I didn’t intentionally wait until all three books were out, but I did end up doing that and I’m so glad I did because now I get to dive headfirst into book 3 and find out how this wonderfully chaotic mess ends! I was so mad at Stellan in this book! I won’t give details because that would give spoilers....all and all a wonderful book. The authors write together seamlessly and could have a very good career collaborating together....even in this realms world, Ellie’s mission makes me curious as to what the other stone keepers are going to have to go through! I’ve read several different authors who collaborate but their writing styles don’t mesh well Megan Montero and Chandelle LaVaun do not have that issue! They work together perfectly!!!!

Oh my goodness, Chandelle and Megan are two of my favorite authors and having them collaborate is ah-mazing! I devoured the first two books in a day! I couldn’t put them down. Marvel Mage picks up right where Midnight Mage leaves off. It was a roller coaster of emotions and left off on an intense cliffhanger that is leaving me wanting more. Can not wait for more books from this magic duo!

Would be better to read them close together. Really...an angel smoking?? Not as good as some of the other books. Sorry, just my opinion

Marvel Mage was a wonderful read. You have to feel sorry for Ellie. She is such a strong woman who handles all the problems she experiences with honor and dignity. With each page you are routing for her. Stellan is her soul mate so when she saves him from danger she doesn't care what it will take to survive and make them both safe. On to number 3.

I really enjoyed heading back to the five realms and love the nerdy quotes. Mistakes were made, but this book certainly is not one. Teasers for what may come and some really fabulous characters make this such a great book. Can we fast forward to April for the next one!

The first book was good, but the second book really got me hooked. What with Stellan being kidnapped, the Royals of the different Realms being introduced and the stakes which are higher than ever, thus is a total gem.
One thing, though: Stellan really should have used his teleportation more...it felt as if he only used it in the last few chapters. Couldn't he have used it to escape prison?
But all in all, it is an AMAZING read. Really recommend it to all fantasy lovers. Can't wait for Book 3!

Knownhow some books are a slow start? And ease you into the book gently? And there's no drama for the first few chapters? Well.......this is NOT one of those books! Chandelle and Megan had us hooked and gripped in the drama from the very first chapter. Was a rollercoaster!!! And I must say, it was great getting to read all the different characters perspectives - loved that! Can't wait (and I am devastated!) for the final book in the series.

Book 2 of Chandelle and Megan's collection and it didn't disappoint one little bit! Poor Ellie doesn't know the way's of the vampires and end's up biting off more than she could chew. Stellan see's things from Ellie's time with the vamps that make him crazy when Ellie finally make's it to the shifter realm where the Fairy Queen had thrown him. Let's just say that things are really really strained between them for sometime.

Enjoyable for anyone over the age of 13 even through to 40+ years old
