    Brittany loved her job as a midwife but there was one thorn on the ward that she had to remind herself not to jump every time the woman came around as she was her supervisor. She loved delivering babies and loved the way the parents looked with love at their newborns. It made her heart fill with joy. When one of the midwives left in a hurry and the hospital administrator filled the position, it would be a total shock to the entire ward, what was going to happen when Brittany saw the new recruit and how would the supervisor react? Would there be smooth sailing or a very rough sea, you have to read this one to see.

    Jed and Brittany were midwife colleagues in the maternity ward. Their boss was an ornery older woman who was sure she knew best about everything, especially about men in the delivery room. It didn’t help that Jed had a childhood crush on Brittany that made him, in a childish attempt to get her attention, cut off her braid. She had never forgiven him sure he was the cause of all her problems in school. But then the granny gang got involved. This is a fun, funny story with some unexpected consequences. So glad that there were some HEAs.

    The story of Jed and Brittany is sweet and heartwarming. The setting of a male midwife reuniting with his childhood crush in the maternity ward is unusual and interesting. Overall it was a light, fun read.

    My review today is on the Romance, Mischief in Maternity. This is book five in the series Medically Yours. I really enjoy Kaitlynn's books and was thrilled to get a copy of this book. This book is well written and heartwarming. It is a delightful story, I know you are going to love it.

    Brittany is a midwife and works in a hospital. She would love to be married and having babies of her own but theirs not much chance of that happening in the maternity ward with all women on staff. Her boss is a bitter old maid and thinks men have no business in childbirth. She does have a grandmother that has matchmaking tendencies.

    Jedidiah O'Connell sends out applications as a midwife. He loves being a midwife. He is hired at the hospital and finds his new boss hasn't been told he is a man and is dead set against him. Then there is Brittany. He went to school with her. He had a terrible crush on her and had tormented her to get her attention. Now he finds out he had caused her trauma all through school. Will she forgive him?

    A delightful journey to find true love. a journey full of twists and turns. A great read!

    Jed has just become a licensed Midwife and lands a job in Portland, Maine where Jed spent time as a child with his grandmother and her friend. His first day on the job he runs into Vivien, Manager of the Maternity Ward, who feels men have no business in the delivery room. The hiring of Jed was above her and she was not happy to have a male Midwife on her staff! Brittany is also a midwife and she’s excited about having a male Midwife until she meets Jed and realizes she knows him from her childhood & not happy memories! Jed has his hands full with Vivien constantly on his back & trying to make friends with Brittany, but the patients love him! Jed goes and visits his grandmother’s friend, Blanche to catch her up on life, Blanche is ecstatic to see Jed and starts thinking what a perfect match for her granddaughter, Brittany! What a fun story, I found myself smiling & laughing while Blanche & her friends plays matchmakers!

    Brittany is a midwife and loves her job but her supervisor runs a tight ship. One of the midwives quits her job and they get a replacement. The replacement is a man named Jed. The supervisor Vivien does not like the fact that a man is a midwife, but the patients love him. Brittany is excited about having a male on staff until she knows him from school. He had a crush on her and treated her badly. I really enjoyed this story. The characters were wonderful. Great book.
