Patricia Carroll ~ I write Christian Historical Western Romances as Patricia PacJac Carroll and Christian Contemporary Romances as Nina Jayne. All of my books are sweet and clean and wholesome with a Christian Worldview. Not preachy, but with the understanding that God is at work in the lives of people. My books will have no sex, foul words, or gratuitous violence, but they will give you entertainment, encouragement, and leave you with a warm heart. All the stories will have a Happily Ever After.

The PacJac is from my initials and my husband’s, James. Although my sweet love died in 2021, it was his love and encouragement that allowed me to write. I miss him dearly but delight in the knowledge that I will see him again when the Lord calls me home. I write as Nina Jayne to remember my mother, who first taught me the joy of reading.

I live in Texas in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with my sweet son. I am blessed beyond my imagination, and that is saying a lot. I love to write, and the stories just keep coming. I have over a hundred books and ideas for many more.

Caryl McAdoo, praying her story gives God glory, loves writing about all Christian genres--historical and contemporary romance, Biblical fiction, mystery, and children, middle-grade, and young adults. In March 2014, after ten years published and nine titles from regional presses, Simon and Schuster debuted Caryl's VOW UNBROKEN, her first historical Christian romance set in 1832 in her new hometown of Clarksville, seat of Red River County in the far Northeast corner of Texas.

Amazon best-selling author, Barbara Goss, is married and lives in Western New York and to date has written 50 Christian/Clean Romance books, mostly westerns. She enjoys crossword puzzles, reading, swimming, and her feline writing helper, Molly, but not necessarily in that order. She writes exciting stories with a bit of God’s word spread within, without dominating the story.

Barbara began writing in 1988 and her first book, Forbidden Legacy, won first prize for fiction at a Christian Writers Convention in Titusville, Florida in 1989. This won her a book contract with Publishers: Fleming Revell and later Baker Books. She wrote four books for them under contract. She then took a few years off to work full time as a secretary to the county hospital and the local school system.

As a young girl, I spent lots of my free time lying on my bed reading about fascinating characters having exciting adventures in places far away and in other time periods. In later years, I discovered and devoured family saga stories and romance novels. At a certain point, I grew cocky enough to think I could write one of these stories. Then I learned what a balancing act writing a novel is, but I wasn’t deterred. Twelve years later, my first fiction sale was achieved--a confession story.

After reading Debra Holland’s “Montana Sky” series and Caroline Fyffe’s “Prairie Hearts” series, I wanted to try my hand at historicals. I was thrilled to be invited to contribute to Sweetwater Springs Christmas and continued writing in the Montana Sky world by developing my Entertainers of the West series.

Married with 4 adult children and 2 granddaughters, I now write heartwarming contemporary and historical stories with a touch of humor and a bit of sass from my home in the southern California mountains. Lots of my stories are set in Texas where I lived for a dozen years.

Nancy Fraser is the mother of two, grandmother of five, an avid reader and award-winning author. She's also the granddaughter of a Methodist minister known for his fire-and-brimstone approach to his faith. Nancy has brought some of his spirit into her Christian romances. Shonda Czeschin Fischer is a wife and mother of 2 who has been married for 22 years to her husband Craig. Angela Lain lives in the countryside in Norfolk, UK, with a long-suffering husband and a horse. She writes both historical and contemporary romance, and enjoys the historical research. Some stories are sweet, but most are (in the words of one reviewer) a little bit naughty. The tales include adventure, excitement, romance and danger, in the UK, the US and even the Crimea. I've been listening to stories for as long as I can remember, reading books since I was five, writing stories since third grade, and writing poetry since eighth grade. When I taught school, I published articles in magazines, because they didn't require so much of my time. I've always dreamed of writing a historical novel, however, and when I became my mother's caregiver, I was finally tied down enough to do so.

All my books have a definite ending, but if you plan to read all the books in one of the series, you should read them in order to prevent spoilers and to better know the characters, but you don't have to continue in the series to get to an ending. My popular Appalachian Roots series contains four books. The Farmers is a trilogy with three. There is a slight connection between When Winter Is Past and With Summer's Songs, but the first is set in colonial Pennsylvania, and the second one is a contemporary. Mountain Mishap, It All Started at the Masquerade, and Deceitful Matters are complete standalones. Readers tell me my books are page-turners, so please give them a try. All my profits go to a scholarship fund for missionary children.
