Questo libro contiene delle storie che sono delle perle di saggezza dell'Islam Sufi, quello più profondo e spirituale. Rumi non ha bisogno sicuramente di presentazioni, essendo uno dei maggiori maestri Sufi conosciuti, amato sia in occidente che oriente. Il libro è disponibile al momento solo in lingua inglese, con i versetti del Corano, alla fine di ogni storia, sia in inglese che arabo, oltre a un detto del Profeta (pace e benedizione su di lui) che di uno dei suoi fedeli compagni. Spero che l'autore prosegui in questo suo lavoro di amore verso il sacro, la spiritualità, il sufismo.

As a Christian, I find this book inviting and absolutely astounding.
Rumi remains a remarkable luminary - for hundreds of years his words have taught and inspired people of all faiths to live their lives more brightly. "I teach the religion behind religion" he explained centuries ago, and his words still hold weight and relevance for today.
Although I find comfort and direction in Rumi's writings and lessons, these can sometimes be difficult to share with my children in ways they can understand. This is where Mohammed and his team really shine. Using their professional skills in graphic arts and traditional calligraphy, a great selection of Rumi's words are shown in illustrated stories. These are coupled with words from the Qur'an in beautiful calligraphy, and in translation. Even though the stories are meant to be teaching the reader, the artwork demonstrates a gentle humor (and keen insight into human behavior) which makes learning a painless by-product of enjoyment.
I'm so glad to have found a book which is so well done, sharing principles I treasure in a vocabulary my children can enjoy and understand. And the fact it applies to everyone is remarkable.
