    Johanna is not the supersweet, sexy heroine who is constantly one misstep ahead of bumbling police. The "witches" are not magical sweetness and light. The characters, lead and background, are real family and real klutzy, workaholics who wander into the plot in a way that is almost beyond easy belief but who proceed to think, grow close and solve an old case working together. I like happy endings and don't mind that the snow globe sisters still need their situation resolved. That should make for another interesting book with another good plot and characters.

    Where does the author keep coming up with such different ideas. This book kept me as interested as the first one. Make sure you read the books in order. I loved the characters in the book. They are so down to earth and real. I don't want to give away the plot, but buying a snow globe in a thrift store sounds really exciting. Maybe I will check out some of the antique stores in my area. A Christmas Wish and two broken hearted people find what Christmas Wishes are about as JoJo and Mitch find and figure out what happened to Mitch's dead girl friend on the day of their wedding rehearsal dinner. With ghost Whitney and a cat Esmeralda and Rocky they have to find answers quick or it will be JoJo in the snow globe; and also finding true love again for JoJo and Mitch. I can't wait to read the next one in the series.

    what was written on the next page. I gave up after several pages. I am very disappointed! The interaction between girl and dog was fun. You need to get a better proof reader or maybe it was the printer set up. It sure ruined it for me.

    I loved this story and the mystery. I cannot wait to read more stories about the dresses and the mysteries that go along with them.

    Whit and Essy are the two main characters of the stories but it is the dresses and the mysteries that go along with each encounter that is the star of the story.

    In this story it is a wedding dress and a murder that looks like a mugging. The story is about how JoJo and Mitch find each other and how they come to slice the mystery of his late fiancé.

    This book is a wonderful combination of a mystery and romance, not a "throbbing loins" romance, but the kind you would see on Hallmark at Christmas time. The romance in the book is innocent enough to be enjoyed by a 12 year old or your maiden aunt (do we even have those any more?) ; it is about love growing slowly. The mystery is sophisticated and interesting. There is even a little magic thrown in. There is a theme of overcoming social anxiety which makes the very quirky main character endearing and exasperating at the same time. As a dog lover myself

The characters were engaging, both human and four-legged, the plot was really different. Great read. Unfortunately at the end of the book, it says the pre-quel is available as a download for free, but this is no longer the case. But I enjoyed this book so much, I bought the prequel and will most certainly buy the other books in the series

    This is a very unusual book for me but for a change I admit to enjoying it greatly. Jo,or jojois s mystery author who loves writing, one day browsing through an old antique shop she comes upon a snow ball with a young girl sweeping. Something tells her she must buy this.she doesn't realize that a talking cat comes with it, now that's fine, except JoJo has a rather large dog. The mayhem caused by those two alone is excruciating at times but things are really weird when the girl in the ball plopped out and explains why she was in there and why the grumpy cat is her sister. I would suggest that if you wish for a light read with some mayhem and trouble caused by these two new members of her family. Then please read this book,a real cozy read and thoroughly enjoyable
