    Rachael was engaged to Ed, until she caught him kissing his ex, Charissa. She packs up and moves to Cockleshell Bay, hoping to get over him. Two years later, she has to go back to Chicago for a work trip and wouldn’t you know it, she comes face to face with Ed. “Can we talk?” “I disappeared for a reason, Ed.” During their short conversation, she reveals where she now lives. When he shows up in Cockleshell Bay, will he be able to win Rachael back or is it too late? Grab your copy and see what happens.

    I enjoyed the story & the happy ending.
    This genre is one of my favourites; however, I found the references to Christian belief a bit 'forced', especially Ed's statements.
    My main reason for the three stars is that the synopsis to the Spindrift series says that, although it is better to read the books in sequence, each book can be read as a stand-alone: I can't agree with this as I found the characters very confusing initially. Trying to work out how they were all connected detracted from my enjoyment of the story.

    I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader copy of this book from Booksprout. I have read all the books in this series so far and have loved every single one of them, if you love beach books that have a family aura, these are for you, you will be truly hooked just like I am. When Rachel opened the door to Ed's house to see him kissing his ex, she ran, her heart shattered and she couldn't get away fast enough. Ed saw Rachel, froze, but couldn't stop what he was doing long enough to register her shocked and horrified expression. What would happen to Rachel now, where would she go and what would she do????

    Another delightful story of Spindrift Cottage. This one, a second chance at love.
    I love these stories as it is easy to relax and feel like you are involved in the feel good feelings of spending time at the place where the family is so caring and wise.

    In this story, one runs to Cockleshell Bay to run away from love gone totally wrong, and another comes to Cockleshell Bay to reclaim love that he totally screwed up on. The Spindrift Cottage family helped both Rachael and Ed in their quest for healing, understanding, reconciliation

    The books in this series are so enjoyable and are standalone stories and can be read in any order. They are clean, wholesome, encouraging.

    I received an advanced copy of the book; this is my honest opinion.

    What a beautiful, romantic story of love lost and found again. I liked that it was not all smooth sailing for Captain Ed and at times I am sure he felt like he was paddling without oars, but it was worth it to prove to Rachael he had changed. I liked the twists and turns that added to the story and made me quickly turn the pages to find out how the book would end. This is my new favorite book in this series. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

    A charming, enjoyable romance that sweeps you off your feet, pulls you in and keeps you turning the pages. It's well written and flows smoothly from page to page. The characters are easy to get to know, easy to love and realistic.

    Rachael is still gun shy because of her ex Ed. When I started reading this book I didn't know that it was going to be a second chance romance. I'm not sure I could have gotten over what Ed did. I'm glad he wanted to try because theirs is a once in a lifetime love. I'm so glad I read this story and I recommend it highly.
