Stark starts to investigate crimes that seem to have racially-motivated overtones but, when the involvement of the Malik brothers is revealed, the case is taken out of his hands. And the new senior investigating officer is someone he knows very well.

Then a body, bricks in pockets, is discovered in the pond during an unexpected drought. A highly entertaining read.
