Call of Sunteri: Keepers of the Wellsprings, Book 2
Audible Audiobook
– Unabridged
He’s an escaped slave whose thoughts are not his own. She’s a knight who has defeated Sorcerers. When their paths collide, can they save two worlds from deadly darkness?
Azaeli Hammerfel has been named a knight and is thrilled to be on her first true quest alongside her parents' guild. Their journey to see Prince Eron and his expecting wife safely to Lake Kordelya is shrouded with a sense of impending doom that tests the strength of His Majesty's Elite and the love that Azi and Rian, the Mage, share. When Kythshire's fairies find themselves a target of the same threat, an unlikely champion presents himself.
Tib Nullen has had a hard life. He's just 12 years old, but as a field slave in the Sorcerer-run country of Sunteri, he has seen more toil, loss, and cruelty than anyone should be made to endure. When tragedy strikes his family, Tib finds himself flung into a plot much bigger than he. In his struggle to make sense of his thoughts, which he fears are not fully his own, he learns he has a greater purpose: to help restore the Wellspring of Sunteri.
Sorcery, Dreamwalking, Necromancy, and mystery fill the plot of Call of Sunteri, the second book of the Keepers of the Wellsprings series by Missy Sheldrake.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 6, 2017I loved the first book, and again Sheldrake captures my complete attention by the 50-60% mark making it so hard to put down. Her devious design of switching back and forth between two storylines is extremely effective in keeping me reading well past the time I should have been doing something else (working, sleeping, eating, telling my wife and children I love them). I enjoyed seeing the group from the first book back in action, and loved the addition of Tib. Books three and four are already in my Kindle library, and I will be returning to the world of knights, mages, and fairies very soon.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 15, 2018The new characters introduced fit well into the series and the action built through book and kept me reading. The characters remained true to themselves throughout and the events they encountered were logical but still surprising enough to make finish and start the 3rd book in the series.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2017Clean Fantasy written for younger readers, the book begins with a 12 year old boy fearlessly following inner promptings to accomplish what no boy could ever do! This is an interesting read and could teach young readers that anything can be done when they are without fear. it's just not a book for me. Adult readers don't have the imagination that can fill in, or ignore, the time gaps.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 5, 2020An excellent follow-up to the first in the series. I especially liked how Tib developed throughout the story. Kept me engaged all the way to the end. Hope Azi and her compatriots continue on this amazing journey!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 12, 2016As soon as I finished the first book, I went and bought this one. It was amazing! I loved Tob, the new character in the book, In fact, by the end of the book I liked him more than Azi! All of the new characters are awesome, and I love what happens to Ki. I also love how you never are really sure how you feel about Mevyn, it's all just plain amazing. This series is amazing and I will for sure get the next one. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone, ever.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 21, 2016Epic, Epic, Epic, wow what an incredible book, story and entry to a fantasy realm. This has movie possibilities written all over it. Magnificent writing, adventure with good and evil and some that are in between the two. Dark forces and forces of light. It simply doesn't get any better.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 8, 2017This book is awesome. The storyline continues from book one. It is full of magic, faeries, swordplay and suspense. Missy Sheldrake is a wonderful writer and I can't wait for the next book in the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Magical books
The story continues and doesn't disappoint. New character's to fall in love with and old ones entwine together perfectly. Once you start these books you can't seem to put them down. Rhey have just the right amount of magic and the illstrations are an added bonus.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Magical Adventure Continues
Oh, I love this series.
The first book was a great forerunner to this one.
Call of Sunteri is filled with magical action.
I love how you are kept guessing about Mevyn's intentions, and Valenor; wow!
But I don't want to spoil anything.
I was totally immersed in the magical world Missy Sheldrake creates. It's just fascinating.
Wonderfully written.
I've downloaded the next book already, and will read when I next have some 'free choice' book time.
