About the authors
Ken Goldman is a former Philadelphia teacher of English and Film Studies and an Active member of the Horror Writers Association. He has homes on the Main Line in Pennsylvania and at the Jersey shore depending upon his mood and his need for a tan. His stories have appeared in over 965 independent press publications in the U.S., Canada, the UK, and Australia with over twenty due for publication in 2022-2023. Ken's tales have received seven honorable mentions in The Year's Best Fantasy & Horror, and he has received an obscene number of awards for real money. (A list is available on request for the insatiably curious or for those offering a six figure movie deal.)
He has written six books : three books of short stories : YOU HAD ME AT ARRGH!! : FIVE UNEASY PIECES BY KEN GOLDMAN (six short stories from Sam's Dot Publishers and an all-time top ten bestseller at the former Genre Mall); DONNY DOESN'T LIVE HERE ANYMORE (five short stories released by A/A Productions in print, Kindle, Nook, download, and audio formats); STAR-CROSSED (five short stories released by Vampires 2 Publishing Company in Kindle format); and a novella, DESIREE, (from Damnation books in print while a 2016 Kindle edition is available from ExCessica Publications at Amazon.com). Got that? There will be a test on Monday.
Ken's novel, OF A FEATHER, was published by Horrific Tales Publishing (UK) in January 2014 in print, Kindle, and electronic formats available on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk Take a look at the reviews when you have the chance. Bring money.
Ken's second novel, SINKHOLE, published by Bloodshot Books (in print and on Kindle), came out to play during August 2017.
Ken would be famous except for the fact nobody seems to know who he is. However, he looks forward to the day when he and Stephen King are called to the dais and someone asks "Who is that guy standing next to Ken Goldman?"
Find many of Ken's tales online. Stop by and scream hello.
We’ve all had those nights where drunken sex with a witch in a blood pentagram under a full moon on the roof of your favourite Johannesburg nightclub summons a hard-drinking demon who changes the fate of the human race forever.

Samantha Bryant believes in love, magic, and unexplainable connections between people. Her favorite things are lonely beaches, untamed cliff tops, sunlight through the leaves of trees, summer rains, and children's laughter. She lives in North Carolina, grew up in Kentucky, and left her heart in Alaska. She is fierce at heart, though she doesn't look it.
She reads poetry and comic books, sometimes on the same day because she contains multitudes.
She writes blogs, poems, essays, and novels. Mostly she writes about things that scare or worry her because writing is a great work to work things out. Someday, she hopes to make her living solely as a writer. In the meantime, she also teaches middle school Spanish, which, admittedly, is an odd choice for money-earning, especially in North Carolina.
When she's not writing or teaching, Samantha enjoys time with her family, watching old movies, baking, reading, and going places. Her favorite gift is tickets (to just about anything).
Amber M. Simpson is a dark speculative fiction writer from Northern Kentucky with a penchant for horror and fantasy. Her fiction has been featured in multiple themed anthologies as well as online. She has acted as Assistant Editor for Fantasia Divinity Magazine since 2017, where she's gotten to work with many talented authors from all over the world.
While she loves to create dark worlds and diverse characters, her greatest creations of all are her sons, Maxamus and Liam, who keep her feet on the ground even while her head is in the clouds.

James Agombar resides near the treacherous waters of Southend-On-Sea, Essex, UK where visions of the speculative, criminal and supernatural have taken hold of his mind (usually alongside a bottle of whiskey). He holds a BA Hons in Humanities where the creative writing module inspired his first published work with Luna Press.
He is a fan of the short story format and takes inspiration from authors such as Ray Bradbury, H.P. Lovecraft, and Richard Matheson.
Occasionally he delves into the world of travel and has five published essays in various journals, some of his travel writing can be found here: www.wanderlust-journal.com.

Carlton Herzog publishes supernatural horror, science fiction and crime stories, as well as non-ficiton. His fiction portrays characters who are outsiders to ordinary life. Filled with strange terrors and brutal absurdities, his writing bends reality until it cracks. He is a USAF veteran with B.A. magna cum laude and J.D. from Rutgers. He served as Articles Editor of the Rutgers Law Review.
He had this to say about writing: “Writing is to the mind what exercise is to the body. I love the process from start to finish. Editorial acceptance, monetary remuneration, and public approval are nothing when compared with the irreplaceable feeling of personal accomplishment. Writing is a stroll through the insubstantial country of my mind. A land where I can see reflections of myself that are more me than anything I can find in a mirror or the eyes of others. it is an introcosm where I am truly free to see what I have done and yet may do, home to all my disappointments and discoveries, rememberings and reveries."
Tim Mendees is a rather odd chap. He's a horror writer from Macclesfield in the North-West of England that specialises in cosmic horror and weird fiction. A lifelong fan of classic weird tales, Tim set out to bring the pulp horror of yesteryear into the 21st Century and give it a distinctly British flavour. His work has been described as the love-child of H.P. Lovecraft and P.G. Wodehouse and is often peppered with a wry sense of humour that acts as a counterpoint to the unnerving, and often disturbing, narratives.
Tim is the author of over one hundred published short stories and novelettes, seven novellas, and two short story collections. He has also curated and edited several cosmic horror-themed anthologies.
When he is not arguing with the spellchecker, Tim is a goth DJ with a weekly radio show on The Feelgood Station, and the co-presenter of the Innsmouth Book Club Podcast & Strange Shadows: The Clark Ashton Smith Podcast. He currently lives in Brighton & Hove with his pet crab, Gerald, and an ever-increasing army of stuffed octopods.

In addition to various international magazines, Victor Nandi's works of horror, fantasy and sci-fi have featured in anthologies from several publication houses around the world. When he isn't spending time with the characters from his imagination, he is usually chatting with the ones in his life about investment tools, sugar-free diets, and workout regime. He can often be found curled up in his cave with a novel or trying to cheer up a dispirited friend with a horror story. He lives in Bangalore, India.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 6, 2022A fresh collection of very short stories with the only thing in common is that they are horror flash fiction. Enjoyed being about to read so many stories with one collection.
