What readers are saying about the Rex Dalton Series:

Sheila LS - Top Contributor. Can't Read This Series Fast Enough!! I had no idea these books were so good when I first started or I would not have already downloaded other Kindle Unlimited books... I haven't read any series as exciting as Ty Patterson's Warrior series until now.

You really need to start reading this series from the beginning because what happened to Rex in this first book is what made him the way he is. He is a very determined person and does not stop at anything to take down the bad guys--especially if they are terrorist or if it is a group that is funding terrorist. Even though this is his main mindset, he still wants to protect the innocent that inadvertently get in the way...

Texas - This author belongs on the same shelf as Ludlum and Follette and those other guys! My first read by this author and I couldn't put the book down! Mesmerized by the writing style, the vivid descriptions and the storylines, I read without stopping. Fast paced, action packed and interesting on several facets.

Margaret Bentley - I love reading about Rex Dalton's exploits, but my favorite character has to be Digger, his military-trained super-intelligent dog.

Greg D - Rex Dalton was the deadliest agent the government had at their disposal- a one-man unstoppable force in the war on terrorism in the Middle East. With his famous ability to pick up new languages with ease, he figures he can blend into almost any culture and root out evil. What could go wrong? Well, it turns out, plenty.

E. I. HOOD - I was not a fan of the first Rex Dalton book but plunged ahead with the second hoping JC Ryan would not disappoint. I loved it. Now here I am after reading the third book in this series. I had a hard time putting it down and found myself wondering about it when I was not reading.

40 year pioneer - Each book in this series gets even better. This has a fascinating, even though hard to fathom, plot, worked out in intricate detail. Rex Dalton is a mirror of all of us - overcoming seemingly overwhelming odds to achieve great things.

Kindle Customer - From a master storyteller comes another thrilling ride by Rex Dalton. From the sands of Afghanistan to the culture of India the story moves at a breathless pace. Thoroughly enjoyable and highly recommended.

Kindle Customer - Rex Dalton rocks! Another great read from JC Ryan. I've read all of his books and am never disappointed! All I can say is....MORE!

Well that was hours of enjoyment, so great ful to the author that I get to move onto another story about a fantastic dog.....oh yeah and a great guy.
I do have to say my dogs could learn a lot about skills that Digger has mastered, that they go outside to use the bathroom is about the only thing they have in common with Digger.....sadly.

This was another fantastic story, and a great addition to this series. It proves once again that Rex is a great man that is willing to help those in need, especially those whom he considers friends. Not a series that you'll want to miss.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and author.

This series continues with another fight against all odds. Digger is resourceful and smart. The unsung heroine is the Indian woman whose computer skills get Rex the info he needs and the plane schedules to get out Dodge alive.

This time Rex and Digger are holidaying in Vanuatu when the inimitable Digger comes across a beautiful French girl and decides that she should be Rex's friend and arranges things so it happens! A beautiful, trusting friendship develops between Rex and the girl who calls herself Jacqui. Suddenly, the girl vanishes and Rex is accosted by the police as the person who is responsible for the girl going missing!
Once Rex clears his name and tries to convince the police that because of her fear of ocean life, she would not have jumped into the ocean. He also learns her true identity, her importance in the French government and decides to look for her with Digger's able support. Another person who lends Rex rock like support in the form of crucial information and logistical support is Rehka, the girl from Mumbai who is liked by both Rex and Digger.
How his investigation leads to the French girl, reasons for her actions, his superhuman attempts to resolve matters in a way that is beneficial to all concerned forms the content of this enthralling book that keeps the readers going without being able to put down the book before reading the last page! As always, the story takes us all over the globe for a thrilling ride!!
All these Rex and Digger books have wielded such a very strong influence on me that I adopted my own "Digger," a brindle Brown with copper highlights Dutch Shepherd who is helping me immensely in healing from the recent surfeit of deaths of family members! In addition to the reading pleasure of all these exemplary books, I now have a champion companion!
Thank you very much, Mr. Ryan.

Rex Dalton morphs into Rowan Donnelly in this fast paced easy to read story of intrigue and thrills when he decides to disappear among the South Pacific islands of Vanuatu. Here his trusty companion, Digger, manages to accidently run in to a French girl when romping on the beach with Rowan. This is the start of interaction between Rex and Margot, and when Margot Lemaire using the name Jacqui Madrolle for anonymity, who is destined for public service in her home country, finds she is pregnant, Rowan feels obliged to be of assistance, after she goes missing to protect the father of her child. Initially, Rowan is considered a suspect in her disappearance, but manages to convince the Vanuatu gendarmerie of his innocence. Jacqui has been the head of the French President’s Communications team in the lead up to his election as the new French President, and is highly respected and admired by the French populace.

Russian oil interests are anxious to capture Jacqui to force the French President to allow a Russian Oil Company to build an oil pipeline through France and the French DGSE are also tasked to bring Jacqui back home. With his background, Rowan follows the French team that are following the Russian group following Jacqui and with some violence, Rowan helps Jacqui avoid all those interested in kidnapping her and Jacqui reconciles her condition after making the decision to raise the child she is bearing by herself.
A great read which keeps the interest throughout and is highly recommended.
