Helping others has been an inherent trait that has been with Bruce his entire life. A way of giving he learned from his wonderful mother, finding so much inspiration in her story and they way she taught him to love unconditionally.

From the time he was an 8-year-old soccer player, standing up at a practice to support a teammate who got singled out and berated by their coach. To the multiple moments in his working career where he was an advocate for his team members, being a voice for those who could not speak, Bruce has always worn his heart on his sleeve and carried a great deal of passion for his fellow humans.

After wiping away the tears from the statement above, you can smile knowing Bruce is also a fantastic storyteller with an amazing sense of humor!! He loves to make people laugh!

Sharing his thoughts and inspiration is something Bruce has wanted to do his entire life, and as an author, Bruce has finally found his calling in life, and has begun his venture into helping change the lives of those in need.

Bruce is a father to three boys who are his world, a husband to an incredible wife. He is a son, a brother, cousin, and an uncle in a beautiful and supportive family. To say Bruce is a blessed man would be an understatement for the ages.

The Human Side of Safety Culture is a fun and easy read on a subject matter that most of us take for granted. The book is not only for leaders of your business, it is also a book that helps you realize where you live in the culture of safety as an employee. Very enthusiastically written by someone who obviously loves and cares about the subject matter.

Finally a book that isn’t written by a robot rather by someone who has lived it! Nice easy read that keeps you engaged and you can tell the author is passionate about the subject. Throw out the old, boring, outdated snooze manuals and implement this book for your staff.

I have been working as a safety professional for years and this book has spoken to me directly. I currently work at a company that struggles to find it’s safety culture. If you are looking for a great book filled with real answers to safety issues you may have than this is the book you need to read. The author is straight forward, honest, and tells you the truth. I have taken a lot from this book and have shared it with my safety colleagues. I hope you find what you are looking for when you read it, I know I did.

I’m an architectural designer and i work for a construction company. My everyday life is nestled away safely in front of my computer and in the confines of my house far away from the fabrication bustle of our warehouse and even farther from the more everyday dangers of the construction sites. After reading this book I’ve caught a real eye opener to what a safety culture is and how even at my position i can benefit and implement growth to my company from the outlines and words expressed from the author. Creating a safety culture is a constant myriad of avenues. Implementing, dissecting, investing, criticizing, rewarding it and constantly evolving your program. I can’t recommend this book more. My outlook has changed for the better and makes me question everything my company offers and how we can move forward. I’ve bought in to a thriving work safety culture. You should too.
