The Road To Crescent Head Kindle Edition

4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars 9 ratings

A grumpy great oaf. Her words, not his. Sparks fly. Is it love? Or war?

Marissa Riley is always getting herself into scrapes. From disastrous dates to speaking before she thinks, there’s never a dull moment. So it should come as no surprise when she meets a huge, hairy, grumpy oaf and the sparks fly between them. What is unexpected is his hostile attitude towards her. What IS his problem?

But soon after, in the midst of another misadventure, John unexpectedly comes to her rescue. They call a truce, but a short time later he disappears from her life. Frustrated by her misfortunes with men, Rissa throws herself into her work.

Then one day, she suffers yet another mishap that leaves her injured and confused. Is it really John’s voice she’s hearing? Or is she delusional from a bump on the head?

This short Christian novella is the prequel to Return to Crescent Head. It is Book 2 in the Crescent Head series.

A short and fun novella with strong characters. This was a clean romance with some humor.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

It was a quick story to read, with humor, good characters and nice people. I think it could have been a bit longer as the ending seemed a bit too fast, too easy and rather abrupt. It did have good bones though.

A short story that has potential. The characters are pretty good and could do with a bit more depth and development. A good read, just needed to be developed a bit more.
