4.6 out of 5 stars 1,841 ratings

Can two men rekindle the fire of one night years ago?

It’s been nine months since Rowan Ward’s life went to hell following his wife’s death.

Fighting to keep moving forward, he buries himself in work.

When fires spring up around Cincinnati threatening his friends and clients, Rowe struggles to protect everything he holds dear.

But the tide could turn in his favor with the appearance of his old Army buddy, Noah Keegan.

Caught in a dangerous game of fire and bullets, neither expects the inferno of emotion that ignites between them. One Rowe isn’t prepared to accept—one that could break Noah.

Noah thought devoting his life to the Army would be enough.

Then he realized he had no family and only one friend he cared about.

When his enlistment was up, he found himself standing on Rowe's doorstep, looking only for friendship but secretly hoping for more.

He needs to know if their one unbelievable night together years ago wasn't a mistake.

Jocelynn Drake is the author of the New York Times bestselling Dark Days series and the Asylum Tales. When she's not working on a new novel or arguing with her characters, she can be found shouting at the TV while playing video games, lost in the warm embrace of a good book, or just concocting ways to torment her fellow D&D gamers. (She's an evil DM.) Jocelynn loves Bruce Wayne, Ezio Auditore, travel, tattoos, explosions, fast cars, and Anthony Bourdain (but only when he's feeling really cranky). Rinda Elliott is an author who loves unusual stories and credits growing up in a family of curious life-lovers who moved all over the country. Books and movies full of fantasy, science fiction, and romance kept them amused, especially in some of the stranger places. For years, she tried to separate her darker side with her humorous and romantic one. She published short fiction, but things really started happening when she gave in and mixed it up. When not lost in fiction, she loves making wine, collecting music, gaming, and spending time with her husband and two children. I'm still not sure if I was looking forward to Rowe's book, or if I was dreading it. I think maybe a little bit of both. I knew, because I loved Rowe and Mel... that it was going to be a hard one. An impossible one... But oooh, was it worth it.

In this one, we're struggling, because Rowe is still struggling. He's trying to find a new normal that is a life without the love of his life. It's hard on all the guys though, and at the risk of pushing them away, nobody even brings her up anymore.... which is a shame, because she meant so much to all the guys, not just Rowe. So, things are kind of just paused, and not so much getting better.

That is, until Rowe's best friend and brother from the Army comes into town, hoping that maybe his unrequited feelings he had so long for Rowe, might finally be resiprocated.
I LOVE Noah... my heart hurt so badly for him, because it was so obvious how much he cared for Rowe, how much he loved him and how badly it hurt him every time Rowe pushed him away..... especially after getting close.
I hated that Rowe didn't see how it was affecting Noah, and how badly he was ripping him apart. I actually cried a bit for Noah... which I was so proud of myself for not doing in this series!
I will admit, I'm a crier, but I hadn't yet in this one.... But my heart broke for Noah....
We all know what it's like to have unrequited love, eh? It sucks.

I always feel so sappy because there's such a great mysterious thriller going on, and it's enough to keep my heart racing and the pages turning, but I'm just so wrapped up in the romantic part of it, I sometimes forget there's a psychopath after all of them.... and it all comes together, the "why" of it all in this one.
I cannot wait for Ian... I've been most excited for him since the beginning, although I'm not sure anyone can top Andrei and Lucas for swoonworthy hotties. Though, again with the heartbreak.. I love them so much and I can't bear to see Andrei so upset and Lucas so broken.
I keep telling myself that I have a life I need to get to... kids and a husband and 3 dogs, but I can't leave things like they are right now... I've got to read more.
I've got to see what happens with Ian and the cop....
I've got to see Lucas come back and grovel for hurting Andrei....
I've got to see more Snow and Jude, cuz dudes.... they're so hot together!
And finally, I want to see them get this guy who's been bent on making their lives such trouble.

    On to the next one!!!
    I fear I won't sleep until I do

5 stars from me. Awesome series!

Noah coming back into Rowe's life was what Rowe needed to jump back into life. After the devastation of losing Melissa to the entire group, Noah brought in a fresh personality to the family. I'm excited to continue with this series and see how Ian and Hollis work out their issues.

I was anxiously awaiting the release of this book. I have absolutely fallen in love with this series, and all of the M/C's. From Lucas, Snow, Ian and now Rowe? All I can say is that considering what happened to Rowe in Shatter, I knew that his story was going to be emotional. And, it so was. The connection of these 4 friends, no......brothers, is a relationship everyone should strive to have in their lives. They would do anything for each other and those important to them. We got a feeling about Rowe's "preferences" in earlier books so I think it was expected, and Noah was the perfect yin to his yang. The connection between Noah and Rowe was unrequited from years ago, and when Noah comes back into Rowe's life, the struggle these two men go through was emotional, funny, sizzling hot and beautiful. I loved the tequila conversation between Snow and Rowe (and cute little Sergeant)! Seeing that side of Snow was enlightening. Every new book in this series we are learning new things about these amazing men and it's beautiful to read. The continuing saga with the bad guy was written very well in this book and we know this will continue on with Ian's story. I finished the book and my brain wouldn't shut down, I kept thinking of all the scenario's on how this will end for these 4 friends and the men they love. And poor, poor Lucas.....sigh. I'd go on but I never like to give away spoilers in my reviews. Both Ms. Drake and Ms. Elliott write a fantastic story. I admit to being upset we have to wait until Spring for Ian's story, but I know based on the storyline it's going to be epic! Thanks for the wonderful series and keep up the fantastic work.

Torch is the third book in the Unbreakable Bonds Series by Jocelynn Drake and Rinda Elliot. This series is amazing - emotional, suspenseful, captivating... these men have a strong bond that helps them overcome so much and to find so much in life. I fall into these books and lose myself in the stories... feel for these characters and wanting all their stories told.

Noah and Rowan are amazing.... friends to lovers, a second chance at romance. Their connection is sweet, sexy and feels real. I love them and their story did not disappoint. This book had me smile, laughter and want to hug these men. I cant wait for next story.

I received an advanced reader's copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.

First time I have read any of this authors books, this one is the third in the series each one about the different person, these guys have such a close bond, closer than brothers but always have the other ones back, but bicker and give each other heaps, which is so funny and family like, but as readers we needed that as so much else was going on, with Torch Rowe was grieving for his wife, but he had his security business to run, and he prided himself on having the best security systems in place, I won't give too much away but will say someone is bypassing them, and things go badly wrong, I thought I had worked out who it was, I was wrong, so much happens in this authors books but need to be read in the right order to understand what is happening, but what a twist at the end, I didn't expect that at all, I really want the next one in the series to read now, I bought the three books at the same time so I was following the story and enjoyed them all, each different but equally as good, I will definitely read this authors books in future, waiting impatiently for Ian,s story, I think I will need my box of tissues handy for that one, so yes highly recommend these books to anyone who enjoys MM romances with a lot of twists and turns, I couldn't put them down until I finished.

5.0 out of 5 stars Arson, ambivalence, and action!

The four Unbreakable Bonds buddies, Lucas, Snow, Rowe, & Ian, cope with a murderous arsonist hellbent on razing their homes and businesses to the ground. Torch focusses on Rowe, who is suffering the loss of his wife, Melissa, and confused about his feelings for his old army buddy, Noah. All the books in the series mix action, danger, and romance, but this has the most thrilling danger so far. The agony Rowe experiences as he fights his feelings for Noah was moving. 🎧 Kenneth Obi does a great job of narrating these books.

Wow what a rollercoaster of a novel and we finally find out the reason Jagger wants Snow Lucus and Rowe dead and it all comes back to what happened in book one in this series, very clever plot line from these authors. This book is focused on Rowe and his ranger mate Noah who turns up on Rowe's doorstep after thirteen odd years. Together they must find out who is trying to kill them all by arson. Rowe has feelings for Noah and secretly Noah is in love with Rowe. Can a broken Rowe learn to live and love again after Mel's death and can both men build a relationship out of chaos. If you haven't read these books before then you're missing out on a great series but these books Must be read in order. Highly recommended.

I loved this third book in the Unbreakable Bond series. All our loveable guys are back, but this one is Rowe's story. Still heartbroken over the death of his wife Rowe is learning to live again. When Rowe's old ranger buddy Noah shows up Rowe's feeling for him are still there. Rowe and Noah are great characters and the chemistry between the two is hot. You will laugh with them (bbq ribs will never be the same), and cry for them but you will never give up on them, they know what they're doing and how to get it done. The bad guys better watch out because these guys are out for blood know.
