Hi, I'm Paul Teague, the author of The Secret Bunker Trilogy, The Grid Trilogy and the standalone novel, Phase 6.

I'm a former broadcaster and journalist with the BBC, but I have also worked as a primary school teacher, a disc jockey, a shopkeeper, a waiter and a sales rep.

If you love stories like The Hunger Games, The Maze Runner, Divergent, Running Man and The Giver then you’ll enjoy my sci-fi and dystopian stories.

The Secret Bunker Trilogy was inspired by a family visit to a remarkable, real-life secret bunker at Troywood, Fife, known as ‘Scotland’s Secret Bunker’.

It paints a picture of a planet in crisis and is a fast-paced story with lots of twists and turns, all told through the voice of Dan Tracy who stumbles into an amazing and hazardous adventure.

The Grid Trilogy takes place in a future world where everything has gone to ruin.

Joe Parsons must fight for survival in the gamified Grid, from which no person has ever escaped with their life.

The standalone novel Phase 6 bridges the worlds of The Secret Bunker and The Grid, revealing what happens between Regeneration and Fall of Justice.

It depicts the world as we know it falling under a dark and sinister force - things will never be the same again.

I love dystopian fiction so writing these books has been a great opportunity to finally come up with my own vision of a future world where things are going haywire.

Excellent Scifi series about the race to save a dying Earth. Well written story with lots of action and twists. Characters were relatable and it was easy to follow Dan and remain spellbound by his journey to discover the truth and save those he loved and the planet we call home.

I have the omnibus edition (parts 2 and 3) of this trilogy but like to review each part separately. After reading #1, I knew I needed to find out more of this intriguing tale...it was so mysterious - what was going on?

This was a great conclusion to the story, which turned out to be a science-fiction battle to save Earth. I have to say that the first book was most enjoyable for me because of its mystery, however, it was still worth reading the rest.

Fast-paced and well-written, this story is a recommended read.

The final book of The Secret Bunker Trilogy. This story has it all, aliens, secret plots, Armageddon, Nuclear War, and an unlikely group hidden beneath the surface of Earth in a Cold War secret bunker.

This series is well written and interesting, it kept me guessing throughout the whole story. I really enjoyed this series and can't wait to see what Teague comes up with next. You owe it to yourself to read this series.

4.0 out of 5 stars The clocks of doom
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on October 9, 2015
Interesting story, really well written, full of twists and turns, plots and counter-plots, not my cup of tea BUT it was enjoyable, gripping and a very complex story to first square up the "science", intrigues while the characters bravely battled to beat the various ticking clanging clocks of doom. Just felt a disconnect with the characters - but that was probably just me. Well worth the read I read all three books over two days so that probably tells you more.

An easy read. Good plot which ticks along at a good pace. It was even better as I have visited the bunker, which is in central Scotland not Southern.

Fantastic trilogy which kept me gripped. Great perspective from a 16 year old boy who grew up quickly and learned just what he could do and why in the battle of good against evil. Had he gripped from start to finish.
