    Is Brock Harper up to catching him?

    We first met many of these characters in the first book in the series. However, this can be read as a stand alone.

    There is a bomb in Paris big enough to level the city. France reaches to the US for help, and a certain agency comes to Brock to give that help.

    Brock has been brooding over the death of a child, and since Unleashed was disbanded, and the way the public has treated him, he and Alara had moved to upstate New York. It took a lot of convincing, and a deal I can’t believe, to get him to agree.

    Once Brock gets to Paris, there is non-stop action.

    Nothing at all like his other series, Mr. Kane has shown here he is capable of grittier fiction.

    Brock, Alara, and Garrett flew to Paris at the behest of a French statesman Legrand and the French president Vaux to try to locate and disarm a nuclear bomb with a short-time fuse. They received a lot of help from Legrand and agents Rousseau, Juliette and Charlotte in trying to chase down a suspect Dubois and his boss Xander who wants to destroy most of the Earth’s population and take control. He was also preparing biological weapons for this purpose. Vaux delayed telling the citizens to evacuate to save his reputation, killing thousands in their panicked escape. They returned to Paris thinking the bomb threat was a hoax, whereas the bomb was hidden in Xander’s deep underground facility fortified with highly advanced weapons. Brock and his friends try to arrack Xanders’s facility. To be continued.

    Finally, let me say that Remington Kane’s writing is absolutely flawless.

    I love to read everything that I can get my hands on that Remington Kane has written. I consider his series of Tanner to be one of the best, but I have to admit Brock Harper is a force to be reckoned with! When my email comes in telling me Remington Kane has a new book out I download it as soon as I can. His books are always captivating and you are on a constant need to know now as to what's coming next. I for one am loving the Unleashed Series and can't wait for book 3 to come out but I'll take another Tanner or Young Guns in the meantime.

    I enjoyed this book and it’s intriguing how it paints the future. Remington writes fast paced. At times it was like a detective story and the characters are mostly likable as well. You’ll be entertained but Brock Harper is no Tanner, but few are.

    I received an Advanced copy of this book that did not influence my review.
