David A. Simpson is an International Best-Selling Author of the Zombie Road, Feral Children and Solar Tsunami series. Christopher Artinian was born and raised in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Wanting to escape life in a big city and concentrate more on working to live than living to work, he moved to the Outer Hebrides in the north-west of Scotland in 2004 and has lived there ever since with his wife and dogs.

He released his debut novel, Safe Haven: Rise of the Rams, in February 2017. This was the first instalment in a post-apocalyptic zombie series. There are currently twenty-eight books available in the Safe Haven universe, including the best-selling and award-winning sister series, The End of Everything.

While she mostly focuses on Horror, Valerie Lioudis is a multi-genre author who has been known to dabble in post apocalyptic, science fiction, and even metaphysical stories. The common thread with Valerie's work is her constant sarcasm, and love for bringing the unexpected to her readers. She loves the art of writing a short story.

I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, moved to Colorado for a few years, then moved back home to be near Imo's Pizza. My wife, kids, and Chiweenie dog are my biggest supporters.

The love of zombies was in my blood immediately after watching George Romero’s Night of the Living Dead at a far too young and inappropriate age. That feeling never faded, festering for forty years before that fever finally broke and beckoned me to write my own “Great American Zombie Novel”. One story became a second. Hey Survivor! My name is Sylvester Barzey and I am a best-selling horror and fantasy author. I grew up in the Bronx, NY, lived in the smallest state in the country for a while, and then transplanted to Lawrence, GA.

I’m a military veteran with an addiction to all things horror. My overall goal is to shine a spotlight on BIPOC characters within the horror/fantasy genre. From a young age, I was obsessed with horror movies, mostly Slashers. The mythos of the “Final Girl” trope was always something that appealed to me. The act of taking someone and watching them overcome the greatest odds to be the ultimate survivor has been a strong attraction to the horror for me.

But, what I didn’t realize growing up was all these survivors were White. Seeing only one type of person rise, builds blocks within people’s minds, it causes them to think that surviving is a trait only in one race, which is far from the truth. The Black community (Black Women for sure) has survival built into their DNA. History has shown us that overcoming great odds is something Black people have always done.

Being that I couldn’t find the final girls I was looking for (There are some don’t get me wrong and they are amazing), I set out to create them. I want to produce Black heroes who overcome world-shattering events and rise above them. My goal is for people to say Catherine Briggs’ name in the same breath as they say, Sidney Prescott and Laurie Strode. It’s my mission to change horror so that my children can look at it and see themselves as survivors.

Degrees in Anthropology and History prepared him for unemployment, but an obsession with horror fiction and a laundry list of phobias provided a more attractive option. He is the author of ten novels in a variety of genres including detective, humor, urban fantasy, and horror. Most of them are pretty good.

Jeremy Dyson lives for one reason; to kill zombies.

After studying at the University of Iowa, Jeremy moved back home to Illinois, worked on a farm, built websites, made lattes, wrote how-to articles, and took dogs for walks before deciding he should probably do something different.

About a year later, his debut novel, Rise of the Dead, was released. The rest is history. His writing influences are J.D. Salinger, Cormac McCarthy, Ernest Hemingway, Raymond Carver, and the late, great George Romero.

Brea Behn is very passionate about reading and writing in all genres. She started writing at the age of fifteen, when she wrote a memoir for her twin brother. Currently, she writes fiction of several genres, nonfiction, and is building her career as an author and public speaker.

When Brea is not writing, she is reading, usually several books at the same time. She also volunteers at her local humane society, gardens, and homeschools her children.

Brea lives in Wisconsin with children and cats.

Apocalyptic fiction has been a passion of the author's since he was probably 5 years old, watching movies he had no business watching, such as The Road Warrior and Dawn of the Dead. He dabbled in writing for many years, though, it was only recently that he figured out his process for writing long fiction.

Arthur Mongelli is the author of Harvest of Ruin (Severed Press, 2017), his first published work. He has written the forthcoming sequels to the story, which concludes in the third installment. Arthur Mongelli resides with his wife, child and two dogs in a zombie-proof home in the Hudson Valley of New York State.

T.D. Ricketts is a resident of the Mighty Mitten aka Michigan.

Married for over 40 years and his wife deserves a medal for putting up with him.

Michael Whitehead was born in Liverpool, UK and did most of his growing up in Nottinghamshire. He now lives on the edge of Sherwood Forest with his wife and two children.

Mark Cusco Ailes is the author of several novels including The Day The Earth Cried and Zombie Park. He currently resides in Valparaiso, Indiana and often mentions his hometown in his books. His hobbies include meeting celebrities at conventions, reading, writing, and acting. He was the drummer for the 80s heavy metal band Latem. He was an extra in the movie Moon 44, and he has been in several stage plays. In the eighties he designed haunted houses in Stuttgart, West Germany three years in a row and won two awards for best design. He also has done several radio and television commercials.

Julien Saindon is a Canadian author whose debut novel, "Electronics of the Dead", was created after studying two years as an Electronics Engineering Technologist and not getting a job.

He is also a full-time paramedic who occasionally saves some folks.

Mike Peirce has been a musician and songwriter as well as a soldier in an African War, and private security agent. His "Red Dirt Zombies" trilogy started life as a musical and draws on his experiences in those other areas.

The TV show "The Walking Dead" shows the consequences of losing the war against the Zs. Peirce's books focus on the consequences of winning, addressing veteran’s issues such as PTSD, alienation and the impact of war on romantic relationships.

The “Red Dirt Zombies” series is available on Amazon in paperback or Kindle. "The General's Daughter" has recently been released and while it can stand alone it also falls on the RDZ timeline..

His non fiction memoir of music and mayhem, "African Days and Hollywood Nights" is now available on Amazon well as several short stories.

Peirce has stories in a number of anthologies with proceeds going to veterans organizations, primarily PTSD support. Additionally he has two novellas about a private military company (PMC) operating in Mexico.

Rich Restucci is a practicing chemist living in Pembroke Massachusetts. He resides with his three children, two canines, a cat, and a permanent hangover. Javan Bonds is the Author of The Still Alive Series, an Amazon Best Selling Zombie Apocalypse series.

The Still Alive series follows a group of unlikely survivors trapped in an Alabama lake town as they try to keep their wits about them. Making a new life in a world overrun by naked, blue-skinned, yellow-eyed, nocturnal zombies that spew vile shit everywhere is hard. Not only are these former humans attempting to bite or devour every last morsel of flesh on any of the uninfected, but they are also becoming increasingly more intelligent and sadistic. Add to that a few crazy dictators, gun-toting preppers, rouge military leaders, religious fanatics, and cannibals! Fun times! Think WW-Z, Zombieland, and Shaun Of The Dead, only better.

Bonds has had to overcome numerous obstacles in writing, as well as to live his daily life. Diagnosed at age eleven with Friedrich’s Ataxia (FA) (a progressively degenerative neuromuscular disease under the umbrella of Muscular Dystrophy ), he was slowly robbed of his physical abilities through the years. Bonds started using a wheelchair in 1999, but that was only the beginning of his setbacks. In 2010, his sight started diminishing to the point that he became legally blind. Because of his deteriorating hearing, he couldn’t pick up individual voices in a noisy room.

Despite all of this, he continued to work tirelessly... on his writing. Bonds, never letting his disability rule him, as he lived, loved, and laughed often. Reading and writing had long provided Bonds with both pleasure and a creative outlet. In 2010, he discovered a passion for writing novels. With the help of Nuance’s Dragon Naturally Speaking, he continued to write every day.

In late 2015, at only 28 years old, Bonds was told he might have only a short time left due to the ravages of FA on his heart. After learning that, he went all in, and by mid-2016, he published his first novel and never looked back. He began to work hard to complete as many novels as possible before his time in this world runs out.

But something happened along the way.

Given his drive and determination to write and promote every day, his health improved. He had by no means found a cure for the genetic disorder that ravaged his body but found a second wind that gave him new energy and direction in his life. His cardiologist then said that the window of time he had been given to live was much longer than previously predicted.

Bonds remastered his first novel in 2020 and released it as Blood Of Tyrants: Book One of the Free State Of Dodge Saga, the first book in a dystopian series about America in decline and its rebirth.

The Still Alive series, with its humor, pop culture references, is a full throttle ride of excessive zombie-killing action; Oh, and there is a pirate ship too. Bonds worked hard as he planned to write many more installments in his Still Alive series.

But sadly we lost Javan Collins Bonds on Nov 5 2023. His heart, ravaged by the genetic disorder finally stopped.

But per Javan's request his Still Alive series will live on. His father, editor, author and biggest fan, J. R. Bonds will continue the series from Javan's notes and hours of conversations about his future novels.

So the journey is far from over. Stay tune for more Still Alive books in the near future.

“Live your life. Light your candle on both ends and let it burn. It may go out faster, but it will be brighter than some who live much longer.” Keep an eye on his flame. Watch it burn long after he is gone!

The graveyard overlooking Skyler Rankin’s hometown is visible from everywhere, like an ever-present reminder of mysterious forces beyond the veil. The town had been a station on the Underground Railroad and wasn’t far downriver from Mothman country. It was against that backdrop that Skyler discovered her love of writing and all things creepy. She garnered inspiration from local legends told in hushed whispers, creepy comic books, and thrillers and mysteries from the town’s library.

Skyler typed her first novel on a broken manual typewriter that was missing a few keycaps. She had to keep moving the remaining caps around to type. "It was a gift from a friend, and yes, it was a pain, but I kept at it despite the frustration. That’s the crazy kind of thing you do when you’re obsessed with writing.”

Urged by her perennially practical parents to “grow up” and get a “real job,” Skyler worked in broadcasting as an announcer, an electronic graphics operator, a master control switcher, an audio producer, and a voiceover personality for local affiliates for local ABC and NPR affiliates, House of Commons Film Video and Multi-image Productions, and The Learning Channel (TLC). She later pursued a career in education and worked as a school psychologist and administrator for more than twenty years. Through it all, she never lost the nagging itch to write and tell stories.

Despite having a crooked path to publication, Skyler was “born to be a writer,” and she is delighted to finally have the time to do it. She also independently narrates and produces audiobooks. “There's nothing more exciting," she says, "than creating great stories and finding that people enjoy them."

Kirk Withrow is the author numerous books and short stories. Often dark, dystopian affairs, his writings possess a realistic slant owing to his scientific and medical background. In addition to writing, his many other creative endeavors include music, luthiery, and painting. Whenever possible, he enjoys martial arts training including jiu-jitsu, muay thai, and kali.

His first novel, Four, is a psychological/military/medical thriller. The Redivivus Trilogy—Threnody, Riposte, and Miasma—is a post-apocalyptic survival horror series about mankind's fight against a deadly pathogen.
