    I absolutely love this series. This book had me laughing & crying. Trixie wanted nothing to do with Rush until her brother Knox told her to stay away from him. So she pulls him into the bathroom & kisses him. Rush is a player, and is not looking for love. Each have emotional baggage, but they are just what they need for each other.

    I've followed this series from the start and I must say this is one of the better ones as of late. Funny characters with their own share of baggage and heartache. A little less steamy than the rest of the books but maybe with a little more realistic and humorous take on the deed.

    The story of Rush and Trixie is written quite enticingly. Her smart mouth is what strangely bonds her to Rush and their broken hearts, caused by the losses of their mothers, for different reasons, forever heals them as one.

    This book is for high school and college romance lovers. While I'm older, I liked the the romance between Trixie and Rush. I thought her brothers were immature and really jerks. How is it okay for both of them to live with girls , one brother 4 minutes older than her but she shouldn't even date? Their never around when she needs them, but pushes her and forces her to do stuff she doesn't want. That they have time for, plus they bring their girlfriends with for support. If that was my mother I wouldn't have made up with her. Where was she when the girl got her period? Where was she when the girl turned 13 and 16. Where was to teach her how to dress and put on make up. Now she's grown up she wants a relationship? Cause it's easy and at her convenience? While all those years she's beautified herself. If she wanted a relationship with her daughter she was only in jail a short time, she could have sent to visit those twins once a week, after awhile those kids being young at the time would have welcomed her, I'm sure they would have. She had her son Rex ugh! And her step children and her second husband who evidently gave her everything to beautify herself and be a critic of her daughter. Like I said the two characters of the romance were good the sister Sunday and brother Nolan were okay, but the rest of the characters stunk especially the mother and two brothers. But real Red went to meetings with Scarlett, they were living together with his mother and her father and moved in together when they went to college. Red was always for his mother she did the brainwashing. I'm sure she did girlie things with Scarlett. So I have to be honest for someone over 30 they wouldn't be crazy about the book! The people are to immature.

    I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

    This book is #15 in the 3:AM kisses series. It's listed as a standalone. I've read maybe the 1st 6 in the series and haven't read any of the newer ones. I would probably recommend that you read them in order. The author tries to do a good job of giving you a small background for the characters that appear in this book, who have books of their own in the series. But I have to admit I still got super confused on who was who and who was dating who even with the small background. The story is told in alternating POV's, the hero and the heroine. Sometimes I had a hard time determining who was speaking when and even whose chapter it was. Another thing was the length of the chapters. The one good thing about a kindle is it telling you how long the chapter is. Some of these chapters were anywhere from 30-40 mins long. Which might have been why I was struggling with whose chapter it was. There was some holes and struggling plot lines, but they might be fixed in the final, published format. I enjoyed the main male character, Rush. However, with the female main character, Trixie, I struggled to like her. I usually like a sassy, feisty heroine but some of her snark just irritated me not endeared me.

    I love this series and even though this wasn't my favorite one, I still enjoyed it. I love that she keeps us posted with past couples from this series and from her other series that ties into this one. I like the fast paced, easy read. Looking forward to going back and reading the ones I've missed and to the ones that she has planned for us. Would recommend this book to anyone who loves new adult romance.
