    I've been looking forward to reading this story, and it definitely did not disappoint. This book was so many things. It was a perfect little Spanish vacation. It was an escape from reality into a world of Jinn, power, sexiness, and a great, well-woven story. From the beginning of the story, Armand is a presence that demands respect. He might be using Cyndel for personal pleasure, but it is admirable that he will only marry for love and not to gain the power of uniting their kingdoms. As a result, he is stripped of his power and banished to earth, destined to be lonely for centuries, with only bi-annual visits from his brother as contact with his family. Makayla is a divorcee and writer, looking to find her lost muse, so she vacations in Armand's village. The story that unfolds is gripping. How can a Jinn and a mortal be together? The desire and connection between Armand and Makayla is strong. I loved it. The depth and the plot twists and turns just propel you through the book in a few hours, forgetting where you are and what is going on around you. Highly Recommended to any romance fan.

    Armand made a mistake. A very big mistake. He had what he thought was a very casual relationship with a female Jinn. Armand thought he could handle anything Cyndel could throw at him when refused to marry her. What he didn't expect was the Cyndel was not in a gracious mood when he turned down her idea of marriage. What he got for his troubles was a was curse. He lost all his powers, except he was still immortal and can heal quickly. Another part of the curse was he cannot travel beyond a certain area in the Pyrenees. His only family contact I s his younger brother. Now he lives on Earth away from his family and doomed to watch the mortals around him grow old and die.
    Makayla is a young women that has lost her family and is reeling from her divorce from a cheating, now ex, husband. Because of this she is in a slump. How can she write romance books when she's such a mess emotionally? Fortunately she has a best friend that has a cure for her writer's block. Spend some time at a house of an acquaintance and flirt with the local men. What she gets when she arrives is an eyeful of the most beautiful and sexy man (and it doesn't hurt he has a sexy Spanish accent) she's ever seen.
    Armand is immediately attracted to Makayla. She cools his inner Jinn and Armand warms hers from the inside out.
    Both have to find away to save each other from the one person that can destroy their happiness, but first they have to trust.
    I did enjoy the book. I was a quick read, but it left me longing for more. Perhaps we won't have too a long wait for the sequel? I can't wait.

What she doesn't expect is a sexy blue eyed goddess of a man named Armand. He sets her of fire, and she cools him. But when Cyndel comes looking to harm Kayla, hearts and wills are tested.

    Will Cyndel kill Kayla for more devious reasons that holds a secret? Or will Kayla and her nana's pendant be the ties that break the curse?

    I loved that the story started out fast and didn't waste time tring to build in a boring way. I loved that makayla was a writer and the way they incorporated that into the story line. I wished the ending would have been different but maybe that can lead to another book. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

    Author Valerie Twombly has done it again with this hot, magical, love story.

    Kayla lost her muse and is having trouble getting her grove back for writing her books. It would be hard to feel like you're not able to do what you love to do anymore just because of one major change in your life. Taking a trip to Spain may just be the turning point in Kayla's life, plus she gets to go to a place that has been on her to do list for a while.

    I couldn't imagine being banned from my homeland and family let alone the life I knew, like Armand. Just when he thinks love is lost to him a beautiful woman comes into town and gives him hope and could quite possibly be the death of him.

    This book grabbed me from the very first page all the way to the last. I really didn't want to put it down or for it to end.

What follows is romance, danger and some steamy moments, as well as a surprise twist at the end.

    Ms. Twombly does a fantastic job fleshing out the mythology and history of this world, which moves Spanish Nights from typical fantasy romance to something much more engrossing. The chemistry between Makayla and Armand was hot, and I loved their interactions. It was also refreshing to have a different type of supernatural take the stage. Recommended!

    I read this in a day, thoroughly enjoyed it, though i wish there were more books, there are other characters who could have a story each. Valerie is a very talented author. I have other books to read yet. I highly recommend her.

    This book was really good, a very passionate love affair. Gets the juices flowing, but also has a story to tell. I recommend this to you to read, you wont be disappointed, if you love hot men, passionate love, you will love this.
