This is really a cute read. I enjoyed Trystan and Emmy’s journey to each other, and all the fun and trials along the way. I enjoyed the Eversea Series, but this had a much different feel. There are some sweet moments along with some witty banter; but it is the serious family dynamics that truly seem to shape our leading characters. They both have issues with trust and commitment which almost keeps them apart. It’s hard to believe that this all happens in the course of a week, and what a week it was. Looking forward to Beau’s journey.

Have you ever actually spoke to a black person?
I’m reading this book and I LOVE it. However ??? Why do you have the only black guy talking like a caricature of a black guy??? That’s weird. Black people don’t talk like this.
