From USA Today Best-Selling Author Misty Walker comes a steamy, age-gap, forced proximity, gay romance.

I’m a loner.
Never getting too comfortable or allowing anyone to get too close.
So when I log onto the hook-up app on my last night in Ketchikan, Alaska, I assume it’ll be a quick lay before I go south for the winter.
Until I see the man who shows up at my door.
He’s young, wide-eyed, and perfect.
All I want is a one-night stand with no attachment, I should've known things would be different with a man named Hart.
After the best night of my life, I’m desperate to run.Except we’re snowed in.
I try to keep him at a distance.
But there’s something about him that has me opening up, letting him in against my better judgement.
Suddenly I don’t want to be alone anymore.
I want to be with him.
My Hart.

*Adler’s Hart was originally a 15k word short story with a happy for now. This version (36k words) has been revised in order to give Adler and Hart their happy ever after.

I loved this book, like I want to shout from the rooftops and tell all my friends about how much I loved it and then find a way to convince them to read it.

This book follows Adler, who we find out used to work with Archer (thee Archer, from Kian's Focus which I highly recommend too), anyways the fishing season is winding down and Adler is getting ready to head south for the winter. On a whim he opens a dating app and happens upon Hart's profile and decides to see if he's free for the evening cause he's planning to leave town the next day. These two meet, a snow storm happens and holy hotness too! When the snow clears they know this thing between them is over.. but what if it was meant to be more? Were they destined to be more than a hookup, or will they leave with only their memories as a reminder of the time they shared?

First things first.... This book was beyond steamy! Like I've read some of this author's other books and I feel like this is the steamiest one I've read. I have a very active imagination and with the details that the author included, well lets just say I feel like a dang Peeping Tom and I should probably be arrested for the thoughts I had. Also, I now have very inappropriate feelings for fictional men that are only interested in other men.

Now back to the review, I really loved these characters. Adler was this older, closed off man with a bad past, that just needed someone to love him (even though he didn't realize he needed it). His past broke my heart but I know its a sad reality for many people. Hart was pretty much the exact opposite of Adler, he was young and bubbly, with the ideal family life and he was so open to new things. These two had great chemistry and I was seriously living for their interactions. As a side note, I loved Hart's parents... like they were the absolute best and they had me cracking up. I also liked that we got to see Archer and Kian again, along with other memorable Brigs Ferry Bay characters.

Overall I loved the plot, I thought it was a fantastic, age gap, forced proximity, MM romance and I honestly can't wait to read more from this author and also the Brigs Ferry Bay world.

*I received an advanced copy of this book but I also had preordered it, all thoughts and opinions are my own*

Wow. Gotta love forced proximity and insta lust. Poor Adler. He has had such a hard life. Turned out by the people who should always have your back and then taken advantage of at every turn. He is scarred and damaged from all he has been through and now guards his heart by never staying in one place and only doing hookups. Loved Hart. He was adorably bubbly but not at the crazed bubbly level of kian. They meshed really well. He got Adler to open up and Adler allowed hart to realize what he wants behind closed doors. They just got one another. Loved that that each fought for each other when it mattered. Loved how everyone rallied for them at the end. So awesome. Can’t wait for more.

You can't help but fall in love with this story and want to see them.Have their happy ever after. I hope there is more to come in the series because I come to love these characters so much that I can't wait for more.

I absolutely adored and thoroughly enjoyed reading Adler's Hart by Misty Walker, and it definitely won my heart!

Adler is gruff, surly, and has been on his own for far too long and doesn't know any different or any better, and doesn't think he deserves it either.

Hart is young and full of sunshine and just doing his thing, is sweet and charming and kind.

Forced proximity due to a crazy storm has them spending magical time together that completely changes everything for both of them. And the chemistry was so hot and SHMEKSHAY!

This story packed a wallop of a punch and took me on one HECK of an emotional rollercoaster ride of a journey! (And a physical one because I definitely want to visit Briggs Ferry Bay!)

If you're looking for a story with definite steam, May December vibes, and ticking off a bunch of trope boxes, that will leave you happy and smiling, Adler's Hart is the book for you!

What starts out as a quick one night stand on a snowy Alaskan night, soon turns into something more as they get to know each other. Adler is in his late 40's. He has had a rough life filled with loneliness and tragedy. He isn't sure he even knows how to love or be loved. He prefers to have one night stands. Hart is 21 and is in college . He is a bright ray of light that warms Adler's heart like it has never been before. Even though he is much younger, he feels so connected to Adler, who makes him feel things that he never has before. When their night together is over, neither of them wants to say goodbye. Can the two of them make a relationship work with all of their differences? I really loved this story. You really feel for all that Adler had to go through. I did receive a copy of this book from Gay Romance Reviews and this is my honest review. I also bought my own copy because I loved it so much.

I loved this story! Adler is fisherman. He’s in Ketchikan leaving the next day and decides to spend his last night with a hook up. Hart shows up. They have an instant physical attraction. But Adler only wants one night but they get snowed in together. This was short and ohh so steamy! Sooo good! I’m voluntarily reviewing from an advanced copy that I received.

I hadn’t really been much for M/M romances, but Misty and K Webster’s BFB series has changed my mind.
This instant love connection, age gap, M/M story is amazing. Loved that we got to see a peek of what happened with Archer’s (Kian’s Focus) earlier life and to have the whole BFB gang back.
As always, the writing is bright, punchy, fun, and intelligent, making it hard to put down (which I didn’t - read it in one go). Misty really knows how to create that hollow feeling in your heart when things go off the rails for her main characters - just one of the reasons reading her work is so enjoyable.
If you haven’t read the other Brigs Ferry Bay books, be sure to go back and read them.

This is a cracking short story! I didn't know about it till i read Leif and Fernando's book i'm so glad i saw it! I would have seriously missed out!

Fantastic pairing these two are. Poor Adler broke my heart. His life was pretty rubbish until his boy Hart answered his hookup call. I love forced proximity and this ticked all the boxes. Poor Adler didn't know what to do with himself! Lol

With a name like Hart i knew he'd be a cutie. Such a sweet, kinda shy young man, he's so full of life Adler had no chance at remaining grumpy. Hart's parents gave him the confidence to live life to the full and this called to Adler and brought him out of his decades long solitary.

I absolutely loved that this made him think about his life and to search out one of the few friends he'd ever made, Archer in BFB. The place was perfect for Adler being on the small town scale and being close to the sea, but also for Hart because it's progressive too. Unlike the small town Hart was from he was accepted there.

Loved their full on, full speed relationship and well... the heat was hiiiigh! Yum! Never heard of a pleasure dom but now i have i want more!

Fab little read i'd highly recommend. You don't need to have read others in the series but you would be missing out if you didn't!

Cute, steamy and heart wrenching novella.
Adler has never stayed put, fearing no one will truly love him that is until a man half his age makes him question his life.

A MM forced proximity age gap romance with Daddy kink. Yes please!

Love this series and cannot wait to read another story from Briggs Ferry Bay!

I absolutely loved Adler’s Hart. My heart broke for Adler, how he felt because of his family was so sad. Love that fate stepped in when Adler and Hart were only meant to be a one nightstand so that Hart had a chance to worm his way into Adler’s heart. I’m so glad that Misty gave us more Adler and Hart because I really loved this couple.
