My day job requires a fair amount of writing. Therefore, I never really had an interest to write for pleasure. When you do it all day, the last thing you want to do when you get home, is more writing. Meanwhile, as my business career progressed, so did my involvement in the BDSM lifestyle.

This interest in kinky sex started in my University years. Like most men, I loved meeting women, and especially the occasional one who didn't mind being tied up, or blindfolded, or spanked. I've always loved vanilla sex too - but BDSM became the icing on the cake.

During my lifetime I was lucky enough to meet my fair share of submissive women. And don't for a minute think these women were weak. Outside the bedroom they were confident, opinionated, gregarious and self-assured. However, inside the bedroom (so to speak) they wanted to feel the strong firm hand of a dominant man taking complete control.

Eventually I found the perfect partner, and am happily married.

One day, I flipped my laptop open, and to my surprise - I had an urge to write a BDSM story. Soon I had 20 pages, then 40, then 60. The novel that resulted was 'Testing the Submissive'. The response was very positive including excellent reviews. That motivated me to keep writing, and 'A Condo With Two Views' became my second full-length novel. A few other projects are also in the works.

    Al Daltrey left me on the edge of my seat at the end of the second book in this series. So, very (okay not so much) patiently, I waited for the third and final piece of their journey. I thought there was no way he could out-do the last book. But oh my gosh! Did he ever?
    He was able to weave in bits of humor with waves of emotion and steamy hot scenes that had me needing to step away from my kindle for a minute a few times.
    Throughout the series, I have come to know and love VIcki, Jasmin, and Billie as if they were my own friends. I have felt every bit of their pain, sadness, and loyalty to each other. I feel like each character evolved as the story went on and the girl I originally thought was my favorite, began to fade into the background as the other two blossomed and changed before my eyes. By the end of the story, I was in love with all three! Each woman is unique and relatable in her own way. I love their friendship. I love the way the author takes you on such an incredible journey with his words that you actually feel like you're right there with Jasmin as she walks the Camino, and with Billie as she finds herself again (and she only had to travel as far as her backyard treehouse), and Vicki as she fights her way past cancer and back into a healthy marriage. There were SO many things I loved about this story, and one thing that didn't make me too happy. *glares at the author* The story pulled me in so effortlessly, the pages just kept turning and I couldn't put it down. I am sad to see them go, but I couldn't have asked for a better ending for these three friends. Way to go, Mr. Daltrey. This will be one series I'll be re-reading for years to come.

    This was book three and the final installment in the Pleasure, Pain or Purpose Series. I was eagerly anticipating this book to see what would happen with Billie, Jasmin, and Vicky. Throughout this series I have come to love these ladies and their friendship so I could not wait to see how it all ended. Would Billie finally move forward with her heart and love life? Would Jasmin figure out her personal situation and find someone of her own? Would Vicky beat her disease and finally be happy with her husband?

    What I Love About This Book
    Al Daltrey did not disappoint with this final book. He wrapped up the series perfectly while continuing to grow as an author. I love the depth of emotion and feeling in this whole series but this book particularly. Perhaps because it was book 3, but I was overly invested in these characters and hung onto every word to see how it would end. I loved the descriptive nature in this book. I felt like I was a part of each adventure and experience these friends went on. When they were happy I was happy. When they were sad, I was sad. When they were unsure, I was too. You get my point. That is the mark of a great author to me. When they can evoke feelings in you similar to what the characters are experiencing, they are doing their job. The female perspective is written so well by Al. I am sad to see this series end but I think Al did a fantastic job throughout all three books. He ended it perfectly.

    Without giving spoilers I will say one word....DIEGO!!!!!!

    I give this whole series 5 glowing stars and this book itself gets them for sure!

    Oh my gosh. What a beautiful ending to the series. PPP3 is amazing.

    Book 3: Purpose finishes up the three book journey of finding love and balance in the lives of Vicky, Biljana and Jasmin. This book is humorous. Al Daltrey's sense of humor really shows in this book. Not only is it funny, it is heartfelt and profoundly written. There were a few times when I was brought to tears (happy and sad) by some of the events that took place. Purpose took me on quite the emotional ride.

    Every sexual experience in this book is different from one another. There is rough sex, sex of a BDSM nature, very intimate lovemaking and more. There is even something for the voyeurs out there. Whichever type you enjoy, you will find it here.

    I want to go out and build a treehouse. I want to experience a journey like the one Jasmin took. Go to India.

    I know that all good things must come to an end, or so the saying goes. I feel like I am losing friends now that the series is over.

    Phenomenal writing Al Daltrey. Be proud of your accomplishment with the series.

    I loved how this final chapter brought together the tangled messed up lives these 3 found themselves in. As well this book/series are not just about BDSM clubs or the kinky sex, (although I didn't mind reading those parts) it's the whole self discovery and healing aspect of this story. Again there were many cringe worthy and laughable moments in this final chapter. I loved the ending!! Thanks for writing your stories down.

    After reading and enjoying the first two books in this series, I eagerly awaited the release of the third, Purpose. It was certainly worth the wait. The three friends, Jasmine, Biljana and Vicky are back and just as feisty as ever. Their friendship, and the feeling of being there for each other is tangible. I loved their conversations and the insults to each other made me smile, it is only something true best friends can pull off. I know, as my bestie and I do it all the time. There was a definite sense of 'purpose' throughout, with each woman, in her own way, searching....for peace, for healing, for acceptance and to just be. I tried to read his slowly as, quite frankly, I didn't want it to end. A great read and a great series from Al Daltrey. Another win.

Each book in the series draws you in to the characters feeling what they are going through, waiting in anticipation for the next book to be released.

    Purpose starts of where Pain finished with Billie moving into her new house. Chad comes over to help Billie with some renovations that she wants to do and lets her know that he has feelings for her and how he shows her that he is more than happy to wait for her to be ready to date. After David’s death Billie is still hesitant to date and let someone in.
    Jasmin decides to go on a pilgrimage of her own to clear her head of Gladstone to the Camino de Santiago. Jasmin meets several people along the way, each one with their own reasons why they decided to embark on the pilgrimage.
    Vicki starts her battle against the cancer and you can feel what she's going through the ups and downs and how much things are annoying her. Throughout it all she has Andrew's support as well as Billy and Jasmin's.
    Book Two Purpose left me wondering so much – What would happen with Vicki’s Cancer and with her husband, what happens after Jasmin realizes that she that she took too long to let Gladstone know how she felt, and lost him to someone else and right at the end with Billie and Chad – what was going to happen there.
    The questions were all answered brilliantly in the amazing conclusion to Pleasure Pain or Purpose.

    The final installment of the story about three women who went through some tough times. This is about closure and moving on. Billie and that darn tree house! Is Chad the right man for her to finally move on with? Jasmin's adventures continue with her pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela which I found fascinating, this trip is definitely in my bucket list. Will Jasmin be able to get Gladstone back or has he finally moved on too. Some embarrassing moments involving these two made me giggle. Vickie and her battle with cancer and finally getting back on track with her relationship with Andrew. I find this the perfect finale to these three very interesting and brave women. A five star from me!

    I must admit this is the best book in the series by far. One that is a real page turner. In books 1 and 2 we get to know each character in the book and are taken along with them as they make their journeys through life. If you love a good book to curl up with and that has lots of emotion with some steamy bits thrown in, then this is the series for you.
