    Authors Max Monroe first gave us the three original Billionaire Bad Boys – Kline, Thatcher and Wes. The “Broody Billionaire” is a collection that focuses on Wes Lancaster. He’s a busy guy. Wes owns a professional football team and a successful restaurant. He lives his life with focus and intensity, and has no time for anything but very casual, transactional relationships with women. He’s a playboy with no intention of altering his bachelor existence. And then Winnie appears in his life, the new team physician for his football team. She’s a single mom with more than her fair share of struggles. With her own sense of focus, her determination to be the best mom possible to a young daughter, and a personality that continually pulls him in. Her daughter, Lexi, is a fantastic part of all three stories.

    In “Scoring the Billionaire” Wes finds himself picturing a domesticated family life that he never before would have imagined for himself. You can fall in love with him multiple times in this book simply because of the relationship that grows between him and Winnie’s daughter, Lexi. Be warned that you will want to figure out a way to reach into the book and shake him several times during the story. Just breathe deeply and try to stay calm, the way one of the excellent secondary characters is supposed to when she goes into labor.

    “Scoring Her” is a fun novella that starts with the whole gang on a vacation and working vacation at Atlantis in the Bahamas. Some big things happen with all the Billionaire couples, in a story that’s a wonderful combination of heartwarming and hilarious. Wes and Winnie take their relationship up several notches and it’s wonderful.

    The brand-new novella “Red, White, & You” start off with a July heat wave and rolling blackouts in New York City and the tri-state area. As someone who has spent my whole life there and dealing with those situations, I can definitely say that Max Monroe got it right when they described the conditions that prompt Wes and Winnie to take daughter Lexi and escape to a lake house belonging to Winne’s family. As more and more unexpected guests start showing up, the lake house heats up with the chaos and laughter that you’d expect in a book by these authors. A couple of really serious issues are also important in this story, and it becomes official that Winnie’s brothers are each soon getting their own stories told. I can’t wait!

    I seriously love Wes Lancaster! He is broody, but he’s so sexy and devoted to Winnie and Lexi. When they go to the lake house for a week to get away from the power outages in NYC they expect a quiet family getaway. Then her brothers showed up and so it was just a bigger family week, until Thatch and Cassie and baby Ace and Kline and Georgia show up. This was all a good distraction for Winnie as she got some disappointing news right before comping to the lake that she’s having a hard time dealing with. In the end Wes is her rock and makes it all better. But as with any story involving Thatch, there were plenty of laughs and pranks that happened. And it was also fun getting a better peek at Winnie’s brothers since their books will be coming soon. This was a fun read and as always there was romance and laughter.

Throughout the last book in Thatchs series and all these I kept thinking I hope there is a book for Remy. Wasn't until the end when they ate going to walk the plank that it clicked.     I absolutely loved revisiting Wes and Winnie’s story, and getting a new novella about them! I forgot how amazingly spicy these two are. And of course, Winnie’s daughter Lexi, who is just fantastic and steals ever scene she is in. The newest novella is such a treat for long time Max Monroe readers and new readers alike. We get a fun fresh new story with all our faves, and a little more on Winnie’s brothers - who are finally getting their own books/series (even though we greedy readers have been begging for their stories for years!). Such a fun collection and definitely worth the read - but make sure you check out the previous books in this story first so all the timelines fit for these characters.

Couldn’t stop laughing at cass not comprehending the labour issues and then wins daughter spouting out information about vaginas. Please authors give win what she wants in a future book.
