    The sinfully seductive conclusion to The Pleasure Pact trilogy is here! BAD MISTAKE by JC Harroway is sure to delight with a delve into the forbidden as Brooke shows the cards she's been holding close to her chest after devising the pact with her two besties. She knew who she wanted, she just had to figure out how to get him to lose control. Loved the characters and loved the series!

    Lady Brooke Madden is divine. She's sexy, self-assured and a strong, independent career woman who isn't afraid to go after what she wants ... like that sexy hunk of a man who's been guarding her body with a brooding scowl and unbearable heat in his stare.

    Bodyguard Nick Rivers is dreamy! He's a tough guy with a heart of gold. He's been traumatized by a past that he'd give just about anything in the world to be able to change, but he refuses to ever let his guard down again.

    I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who loves a decadent dip into temptation as three sexy ladies set out to go after what they want and end up finding their forevers along the way.

    Let me set the scene.

    *waves hand*

    I am only on the third sentence of Chapter One when with eight little words Nick Rivers rocked my world (too much?!) and like a record needle scratching across an album everything came to an abrupt halt...

    “Even for a guy who likes to watch...”

    Little Angel Me (who am I kidding – that halo slipped long ago!) slaps me on the shoulder: “Hold up! Say what now?”

    *quickly re-reads start of sentence*

    Little Devil Me *smoke starting to rise*: “Oh man, this is gonna be *sings* goood!”

    Me-me: “Ladies, puhlease! Try and keep it together. We’ve only just started. Our hormones won’t survive if you two go off too soon!”

    *snorts*

    Whaaa? Doesn’t everyone have these sorts of conversations?

    Noooo?!

    *shrugs* Oops, my bad!

    It’s no secret that I have LOVED the Pleasure Pact series and couldn’t wait to get my grabby hands on Brooke’s story. Between thee and me, it’s the one I’ve been waiting on. The little hints and teasers we had in Grace and Neve’s books had my ‘I NEED IT!’ sensors in overdrive.

    Nick and Brooke blew (steady!) my mind. Naughty to the nth degree, Bad Mistake has to be the author’s steamiest book yet. And, boy, did I devour it. I was gonna say lap it up, but *taps chin* that doesn’t sound so good, does it? *winks*

    Each struggling with their own trust issues, Brooke and Nick are punishing themselves for events outwith their control. Guilt, however misplaced, can be insidious like that. I also found it quite emotional at times.

    There was the obligatory fist waving at the kindle screen over stupid characters with their head stuck up the proverbial, aka the usual.

    And I think I literally stopped breathing a few times reading this story. I swear those brain cells would’ve come in handy one day, but *shrugs* alas...

    BM is JC at her best! Put it this way, reader satisfaction is guaranteed (how you want to interpret that statement is up to you, lol!).
