    An entertaining story. At first blush Tripp seems to be a happy-go-lucky skate boarder who just wants to have fun, in this case, with Noah. Noah, for his part is a little dazed by the attention and is unsure how he feels about the teasing. But when circumstances push the 2 men to being in close proximity, they learn more about each other and find hidden hurts, depths. They forge a friendship and relationship that *slightly* evens out Tripp's larger than life personality and give Noah a bit more courage to be comfortable in who he is and loves.
    I enjoyed their story (works as a standalone) and plan to read books 1 and 3.

    I like this one, it's not excessive at all. It has a significant impact in our society today. Fear of judgement, discrimination, prevents them from showing their authentic selves. Everyday they live in fear.

    Noah and Tripp are wonderful peole. Loving their sexuality and loves truly. Because true love is ambiguous as unique as each person in the relationship. No matter what gender is, love is diverse, love is for everybody. This story is beautiful.

    The story was pretty good at 3.5 to 4 stars but I had to rate this as 3 stars due to poor formatting. After the epilogue, the book starts back over at chapter 4 or 5 and then after that epilogue starts over at chapter 10 all the way through the epilogue...again.

    There are a few editing errors here and there that aren't egregious but should have been found.

    My first book by this author and it didn’t disappoint. I’ve been reading lots of hockey stories lately and this gay for you, hurt comfort was so good. I love how it started with Tripps over the top flirting and the Noah’s determination to discover who he was and that he wasn’t broken. Tripp was so caring,m taking his time with Noah whilst nudging him to try new things at the same time. I liked that it was Gay for you and the other characters in the book made it that much more enjoyable. I love the twist towards the end and that they got their HEA.

    BAD PUCKING INFLUENCE pulled me in right from the start. I was captivated by Noah's lack of interest in sex and also by his fascination with Tripp. On the surface, it doesn’t seem like Tripp, a skateboarder and artist, would be matched with hockey star Noah but Tripps’ easy going attitude to sex and his open mindedness make him the perfect match for Noah. I loved how Tripp gave Noah permission to explore and see what worked from him and to learn what he wanted.

    This is a romance that gets a five star rating just for the hotness alone. This story, particularly early on, has lots of incredibly tantalizing scenes. I loved the romance and experiencing the personal growth of both Noah and Tripp. About half way through the story there is an unexpected event that provided a change of direction and also an opportunity for our couple. I loved that the story was able to surprise me. I really enjoyed the way the story evolved and while there is some drama, there is not much angst.

    I’m a huge lover of m/m ice hockey romances and BAD PUCKING INFLUENCE was top notch. I adored Tripp and Noah and I didn’t want their story to end. I had not read the first book in this series but as soon as I finished BAD PUCKING INFLUENCE I immediately purchased book 1 and I’ve pre-ordered book 3. The author, Michele Lenard, has a new fan in me.
