    Ms. Phoenix continues the McClain family journey with an amazing story about Calla and Jared. The story is beautifully written in a way that only Airicka knows how. Keeping us hanging on, breaking us, and then putting us back together again...this book was sweet as pie!

    When we meet Calla (all grown up and beautiful) there's a hardness there that nobody really knows about. Something in her past has changed her from what she was to this colder person that she is now. Jared, her childhood friend and secret love, picks up on the fact that she's changed, but refuses to give up on what he knows is right.

    In a night that will change their lives forever, Calla and Jared will embark on a journey that will teach them both about themselves and how strong love can be.

    Airicka writes with just enough steam to keep us...well, you know...but still manages to work in beautifully written characters with an intense storyline. This was a book I couldn't put down. I fell in love with Jared almost instantly (it's an Airicka book boy, what is there NOT to love!!??)

    Her cast of supporting characters, most of which we have already met at some point in time in the series, are such a necessary and awesome piece of the story. And, I have to say it, Willa and Damon...OH MY, they are so cute I can barely stand it.

    I loved this 3rd book in the series and I look forward to where Airicka takes us in the next installment of the Baby Series

    I have to say this family continues to pull at your heart. I have loved every book from Lilly and Sloan to Colt and Beth! When I heard that the next book was going to be about Calla I was so excited and it didn't disappoint! This story so good! I loved how you got to see everyone from the previous books also.

    Calla and Jared' s love for each other was so sweet and refreshing to read. They both respected each other and were friends for years. I loved watching how the relationship between the two developed. I really enjoyed reading this book and I can't wait to read Willa story next!

    I'll be honest, when I read Bye Bye Baby (second book in this series), I thought to myself if she comes out with a book for Calla, I'm not going to read it because she was such a bratty kid in that book, but I ended up buying the book featuring Calla after it came out because the blurb sounded good. Well this book does not disappoint and to my surprise this was the best book so far out if the series so far in my opinion. You will fall in love with Jared (he is loving, protective, and alpha) and Calla isn't that bratty, spoiled person anymore because something happened to her that changes her. I highly recommend this book and it can be read as a standalone. I cannot wait for Damon and Willa's book and was so happy when she said it would be out in May.

    I love how this books takes place when all the kids are grown up. We get to see just what kind of people they’ve all become and how well the clan has stuck together. We see that, despite how things were when they were kids, Jared, Damien, Call and Willa still stick together. I love how close Willa and Damien appear in this book, yet how Calla appears to be more reserved and steps away from things that make her upset. We venture deeper into the tales of the McClain family and watch just how the family grows. This books is amazing and I CANNOT wait for the next book

    I loved Calla and Jared's book. I like that it could be a stand alone but way better if everyone reads the whole series first. The love Jared has for Calla is breathless and when Calla starts to let Jared in made my hart full. When I read what keep her walls up I cried but was very happy to see everything worked out and they got there happy ever after! A 100% must read!

    Another lovely Story, featuring the McClains of Willow Creek, they are a really tight close knit family, the semantics are a bit odd, but nothing much comes between them.

    This is a standalone story, although I recommend reading Sloan and Lily's Book : Forever my Baby. and Cole and Beth's book: Bye Bye Baby. It gives a clearer understanding of not only the main characters but also the peripheral characters.

    Willow Creek is a nice quaint little town, where everyone knows everything about everybody. All gossip starts with the town busy body; Georgia May.

    So this is about Calla, Cole and Lily's daughter, she is now in her early 20's and all her family have noticed something is not quite right since she came home from school, but Calla was always stubborn and has a big secret.

    Jared, Damon's friend from Cole and Beth's story, who has grown up into a fine looking young man, is best friends with Damon and Willa (Calla's sister). Jared has had a thing for Calla since he was 15, as we learn from his story, but Calla came home from College, a different girl, he only has eyes for her, but she thinks she is unworthy of his love.

    She tries to push him away, but it seems Jared is just as stubborn as Calla, and they both have trouble hiding their feelings.

    I loved how Jared surprised Calla, when they went to a wedding in town, and loved the twist especially as everyone knew about their business in this case before they even did!!

    Not sure if that is something I would like to wake up to??

    Full Credit to both of them for not taking the easy option.and both working through the situation they found themselves in.

    They may have done things in an arse about face way, but their connection was very fierce. I have loved Airicka's writing with all three books in this series, how we get everyone's perspectives, how family prevails over everything and how everyone rallies around to help each other.

    Plus the suspense, which keeps the pages turning as the story develops.

    The story builds slowly, and through every step you find yourself wishing that things go in their favour.

    Loved getting to know Damon and Willa, and feel their book is going to have as much love, passion, and suspense as the others in this series.

    Calla's secret is a tough one, as she endured it all by herself, hardening her heart to not allow anyone through the barricades. Although Jared was a little unsure at times, he was a tower of strength when Calla needed it, even if she didn't think she did.

    I loved how their relationship developed, they do make a great couple.

    Have loved the guys and girls of Willow Creek and I'm sure Damon and Willa's books is going to be as fab.

    Fast forward a few years from the previous book, Bye Bye Baby, and Calla is all grown up. She has returned from college not the same girl who left and as the story unfolds we eventually find out what happened to her in the two years away. Jared has been in love with Calla since they were 16 and can't walk away. He is everything she wants and needs, but doesn't think she deserves. Lucky for her, he isn't willing to give up on her. One drunk wedding later and they wake up married. The usual small town craziness ensues making for lots of entertainment for the rest of the family. This story was so sweet. We watch Calla grow up and become an amazing woman and Jared is charming while uber-masculine. While this book can be read as a standalone the family history alone is so much easier to understand having read the previous two books.

    Another fantastic book of an overall brilliant series. Where each is stated as a standalone I do recommend reading in order as each story is based on a different member of the same family so we get to see plenty of the other characters and their continued stories too.

    This book focuses on Calla- the daughter of Lily and Cole from the previous books. This is her love story and relationship with Jared (Damon's best friend). The story isn't smooth sailing as Calla has a sad secret from her past that makes it difficult for her to accept a relationship. We get to read their story of two people who don't want to give up on love.

    A beautiful story with a perfect HEA, great to see all the other characters too, and all ready to read book 4. A series recommended.
