    Love this story, I have read all of the Better than Good stories and I believe this author should think of making Aaron and Matt's love story into a tv series. Each character is richly drawn and totally real and would jump off the screen in a streaming tv series. Watching Aaron and Matt come to life on the small screen would make for a wonderful binge worthy series. Sure hope Lane will consider pitching this to a tv producer. While reading these stories my head was filled with picture of their lives. This is one of my very favorite series. Loved all these books!

What stays the same is their love got each other, their friends and family. Loved the little reminders of the other couples, helped jog my memory of their stories.

    Better Than Home is a novella in the Better Than series by Laye Hayes. This is one more wonderful addition to Matt and Aaron’s story. I am so in love with these two.

    Matt and Aaron went to New York but things didn’t go according to plan. So after their time was up, they are returning home, ready for the next chapter of their lives together. Which is to buy a house. The process is much more complicated than they anticipated. Nothing seems right. They just want to walk in to a place and know that it’s home. And then it happens!

    Of course, life has a few more twists and turns for them as they deal with their careers, their friends, new neighbors and their parents. But, the love between these two couldn’t be stronger and they are ready for whatever their future has in store for them, as long as they are together.

    Now, I’m finally going back to the actual series and starting book two, Better Than Chance, which is Jay and Peter’s story.

    This couple is still one of my all time favs. I’ve loved revisiting them and their friends with this newest book. Seeing them all grown up, dealing with complicated work and life issues just makes me adore them more. Like it has from the beginning, this story feels so authentic. I feel like I could meet this couple on the street or in a bar and be perfectly happy stinking up a conversation about life. I hope this isn’t the end and we might get the chance to peak in on them and their kids in the future.

This is a companion novella in the series and is best read after at least books one and five as the three stories are Matt and Aaron's, this story will make a lot more sense if you do this. A fantastic follow up to their previous stories and I really enjoyed it. Guaranteed HEA.
