Summer Hanford writes gripping Epic Fantasy, swashbuckling Historical Romance, and best-selling Pride and Prejudice retellings. Since the moment she read her first novel, Summer’s passion has always been writing. As a child growing up on a dairy farm, she built castles made of hay and wielded swords made of fence posts. She is also passionate about animals, travel, and organizing her closet. Nothing pleases her more than a row of tops broken down by sleeve length and ordered by color…except working on her latest novel with her cat in her lap, her dog lounging on the rug dreaming of squirrels, and a cup of tea at hand.

    What an adorable little book for children! Although there is a boxing Day, there is no violence. This cut book is a spin off from this writer's new book, "Once Upon a Time In Pemberly" set to debut soon. In the book, one of the main character writes a children's book for a child who is being teased by his sisters. The book is wonderful and the boxing Day story was such a cute part of the book. I plan to purchase the printed version for my grandchild, so I read this one first. Wonderful! Can't wait to read it to her!

    I received this as a gift and am delighted. Any child would enjoy the colorful pictures of the animals as well as a well written story done in a whimsical manner. Parents and grandparents can be assured of a good, clean wholesome book. My son is under strict instructions to gift me with a grandchild to rad this book to, I can hardly wait.

    Boxing Day is a great children’s story. I’m so excited to read this to my grand babies! The illustrations are adorable. I LOVE that Summer included the history of Boxing Day at the end of the book. Summer, you rock!
