Bully for Sale (Heat for Sale) Kindle Edition
Bullied and outcast, Ezer has seen firsthand the cruelties of the world. He knows what’s expected from his kind—timid compliance and submission to his “betters.” But Ezer isn’t one to roll over and conform to the role society has forced upon him.
Despite his defiant nature, Ezer is coerced into partnering with a man of his father’s choosing. One his father promises will love and care for him for the rest of his life. Soon Ezer realizes that his father has bound him to Ned, a bully who has made Ezer's life miserable.
Ned is young, privileged, and hopelessly in love with Ezer. Too bad his pack of so-called “friends” have targeted Ezer for torment. Ned has a lot of regrets, but none greater than his role in Ezer’s misery. When Ned is offered the contract of a lifetime, he sees it as the only way forward with the man he loves.
The dual biological drives of heat and its aftermath might be all that’s keeping them close now, but Ned is determined to prove he’s worthy of Ezer’s love.
While Ezer is just as determined not to fall for his bully.
Bully for Sale is a standalone m/m romance set in the Heat for Sale universe featuring first times, bully romance, opposites attract, and enemies to lovers.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 22, 2022Take the trigger warnings very seriously. At the beginning of the book there is already an awful scene of attempted rape. Many offensive insults and actions occurring and later another attempted rape scene.
Ned is an alpha, but he starts out being somewhat of a tagger along with the bullies. He feels frustrated that due to the financial circumstances of his father, he feels pressure to make nice with the bullies. The moment he saw omega Ezer he's instantly attracted almost to the point of instalove. But Ezer is the target of the bullies' attention. And because of Ned's inaction, Ezer hates him.
When an opportunity comes for Ned to buy a contract to be Ezer's alpha and take care of his first heat, Ned is uncertain because they are both still so young and he has doubts that Ezer will choose him. Ezer is pressured by his Father to enter the contact and does so knowing he's giving up his freedom of choice in exchange for incentives his Father has offered him. He's so distraught he doesn't bother to find out that he was contracted to an alpha who bullied him in his eyes. As for Ned, he believes Ezer chose him freely and wants him.
This story depicts a fascinating and intricate world where omegas are mostly at the mercy of alpha's in particular their alpha fathers who use them as pawns for getting ahead in business.
There are lots of twists and turns to Ezer's and Ned's story but for me the one consistent that was so heartwarming was that Ned never stops being sure of his love for Ezer and is prepared to wait his whole life for Ezer to love him back. A wonderful story to read!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 26, 2023This was a generally cute enemies to lovers style story. Well edited, no egregious typos or mistakes. I felt for the characters. I would have liked more of Ezer's perspective at the end. Though it was generally wrapped up, the beginning was all about him trying to keep himself during all the changes, and I wanted to see that discussed as things did change.
Overall, I did enjoy the book. There was one part I did not like at all and almost made me quit reading. I will say what it was below in case someone doesn't want to read it.
Possible spoilers/mature content warning
There was one part that really bothered me. During one of the sex scenes, the author described the alpha taking the pregnant omega, and feeling the unborn babies with his genitals inside the omega's body. The sensations were described as being part of the sex scene, pleasurable, and ok. I don't know about anyone else, but I would not be ok with feeling my child with my genitals nor ever finding sexual pleasure from it. I was not okay with that scene at all. If I didn't want to find out the end of the book enough, I would have stopped reading. As it is, I am very hesitant to read another by this author.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2024The Blurb caught my eye for this book. After reading the 90's collection I saw the heat for sale series and I love omegaverse especially mm. So I gave eit a read and I absolutely loved Ezers character, he was such a fiery little omega. And his Alpha Ned was a sweetheart. I enjoyed following their journey and watching their relationship develop more. I had no issues with the trigger warnings I don't mind a bit of angst or dark with my omegaverse reads. But that's my personal preference too much and it gets boring. I'm looking forward to more form this series and I hope Leta also writes about Ezers brothers I would love to know more about Shan and his mountain alpha and if he's okay. Fingers crossed we get a book for each brother. I absolutely recommend this book. The spice was 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶. The story and characters will have you hooked.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 14, 2024This author really put a lot of thought and imagination into creating this story. Her talent for storytelling is impressive. It’s rare to find an author who can write a good book in any genre, especially the Omega mpreg one.
That said, I have to say that I didn’t have a good feeling while reading it. There wasn’t one character in the story that I liked. This wasn’t a fun, feel-good story for me.
This is solely my opinion and there are many 5-star reviews, so you will have to form your own opinion. Don’t let my thoughts stop you from reading this book, because this author does have a talent for writing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Touching and engaging
This is a really well written omegaverse with strong main characters and side characters. Not very many of the side characters are nice and both mcs make mistakes but this makes the book feel more grounded and real. I felt for both main characters but really loved Ned and his troubles.
I would recommend this if you like a well written Omegaverse story which includes heats and mpreg

5.0 out of 5 stars Ezer e Ned
Un altro omegaverse indimenticabile da parte di Leta, con protagonisti umani e imperfetti, ma che sanno farsi amare mentre lottano per il loro lieto fine.

3.0 out of 5 stars Strange but original!
3⭐️
This book has elements that were very unknown for me, but it became entertaining.
The universe was actually original, different and the bully story was completely different to anything I read before, which was cool.

4.0 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is only my 2nd omegaverse read and 1st MM only so it was interesting. I did enjoy it. The characters were good and the heat was off the charts. The storyline was good but dragged a bit at times. Good read.

Absolutely loved this story. Ezer is a feisty Omega and he holds on to his anger until the end. I can't tell you how refreshing it is to read this quality in a character. There are far too many books I read where the MC gives in to his bully. Ned (in my opinion) is a coward but he does redeem himself. It's a great story with passionate sex scenes. Another refreshing quality about this book, is that the sex scenes are part of the plot, not just added in to bulk up the pages. Leta Blake tells a cracking story and I highly recommend any of her books.
