The only thing that would make this read better is an editor. They're is not the same as their. Sentences left unfinished, and ticket is not the same as ticked. And on it goes. Is a lovely romance, but the editing detracts.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 16, 2016Sonya and Falcon's story was a thrilling addition to this Captivating Series. I can hardly wait for Book 5 which will feature Gabriel and Jordan. As in the previous books in the Series, the author's writing styles continued to be imaginative and vivid. The character development was spot on and the storyline proceeded at a fast & exciting pace. I loved both Queen Sonya and Sir Falcon. Both were fierce, loyal, courageous and believable. Silvie's character continued to be an adorable, manipulative, hoot! I can't wait to see fate pull the rug from under her regarding Gannon. The story contained loads of heart-pounding action, cute romance, a touch of humor and some well done and provocative love scenes. There was a sub-plot involving Gabriel's search for Jordan that was exciting and suspenseful. The author's creation of this dark and compelling vampric world continued to provided a refreshing spin on the genre. I just wish that she would do a better job with editing. The numerous errors were disappointing and to me such poor editing demonstrates a lack of respect for ones craft and inconsideration for ones readers. Nevertheless, I did not lower my rating for the book as some reviewers did because, frankly, I have encountered much worse from books written by independent/self-published authors and though the errors were somewhat distracting they didn't prevent me from totally enjoying this marvelous story. I think that I've become able to trick my mind into subconsciously substituting the correct words and phrases thereby preventing myself from irreparably being drawn out of the story. I thought that the story ended rather abruptly. Of course, I didn't want the story to end. There's that! The peek into the next book was awesome. I can't wait! If you can over look the editing errors, they really aren't that bad unless it's one of your pet peeves, lol and you enjoy vampire romances with a unique flavor, I recommend giving this book, as well as, the Series a go. They really are some wonderful stories at really great prices. Although there are no cliff hanger endings, I would recommend reading the books in order for maximum enjoyment.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 29, 2018When I began reading Edge of Darkness I was hesitant in continuing but it was a series I dearly loved so I knew I just wasn't emotionally invested yet....and I would be. Oh yes, I would be.
In the beginning Gabriel is entranced with Jordan when he finds a picture of her in a cell which I thought was just stupid. To be smitten with someone just by looking at a picture. But the more pages I turned I was entranced by the world that Greene made up and all the characters that populated this series. So I considered that you could fall head over heels just by a picture.
And then we get to the blood and gore. Otherwise, the action. And not too long after that we get the sex!!
Yes, this book started out slow for me but it quickly turned into overnight madness! I couldn't put it down. And then we get to the last chapter which is basically a prologue to the next book. I can't wait to read Gannon's story and how he came back from the dead.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 13, 2017This book was great. Each book has a great love story individual to each one. I enjoyed every page of this novel. I can't wait to read the next book. This book left a cliff hanger so I'll be starting as soon as i finish this review. I hoghly suggest starting at book one and working ypur way through each one but they can be read out of order as well. I prefer to always start at book 1 and work my way through. Unlike many series there is mot a lot of repeating the backstory each time. You will definitely enjoy this series if you like a good love story and vampires.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 29, 2016Truth be told there are some grammatical errors but not enough to put me off. I love this story and have waited for this story since I read the first three books they deserved a happy ending and can't wait for Gabriel's story.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2016Dear Ms. Greene- I have binge-read your first four books in this series. You have done a great job developing these characters and keeping the plots of each story individual and interesting when the potential of them being derivative is high. (You really surprised me when you found a solution for Falcon. I hadn't seen that one coming!)
However, please don't rely on autospell for your editing! The first three books were fine, but something happened later on and the errors were evident enough to disrupt the flow, then they became often enough that I made a game of hilighting when a word was not what it was supposed to be or spelled incorrectly for its use. (There, their, they're). Please rely on a good-ole human editor because I can't WAIT to hear Gabriel's story! He's been my favorite from the beginning!
I even volunteer to pre-read if it gets me back to him sooner! Keep up the great stories!

5.0 out of 5 stars fantastic author
I have read the entire series. I can hardly wait for book 5. The first book held you in thrall and I had to get the rest of them. I would rate this author with the likes of Christine Feehan, Amanda Quick, Nina Croft and others. This writer delivers suspense, thrills and humour.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first 3 books of this series and couldn't wait to read this book. Unfortunately, I had to rate this down as the book seems to have no editing at all. There are so many mistakes it makes it a trial to read. eg/ tilting was constantly written as titling. It wasn't just spelling but words missing or repeated. Not sure what happened but it's a real shame.

4.0 out of 5 stars Another awesome read
I absolutely love this book series! I’m only gutted I have to wait so long in between publications!
This was another great story all about Gabriel and Jordan. Once I started I couldn’t put it down.
Yes there are spelling mistakes and the odd grammatical error, but it certainly didn’t detract from another great read.
It was exciting and tense and kept me page turning all the way through. Great ending leading the way into the next book which I’m very much looking forward to! But please can it be sooner rather than later?! 😀😀
