The Crossroads Duet Kindle Edition
Twin brothers, both broken and in love with the one person they shouldn't be in love with...
Redemption Lane
Sometimes the past bleeds into the future.
Bess, a wild party girl running from herself, literally falls victim to her demons when she collapses in the most unexpected of places.
Lane, a tightly wound, up-and-coming CEO who can’t seem to stop enabling his brother, doesn’t know what hit him when Bess falls at his feet and into his life.
It was a night she doesn’t remember, and one he can’t forget.
But rather than stay and help the needy college coed, Lane decides to teach his brother a long overdue lesson––a decision that later comes back to haunt him and only adds fury to the transgressions of his past he is already fleeing from.
Years later, Bess and Lane meet again. She doesn’t know him, and he doesn’t share that he knows what happened on that ill-fated night when she almost died. After all, he has a web of complicated lies from his own youth to protect.
Both are seeking salvation in the arms of others and ignoring the truth—that the only road to redemption lies in confronting your past.
When the past and present collide, is there any chance at redemption?
Absolution Road
For Jake Wrigley, the future is bleak. Some people are survivors, but he’s getting by on his bad-boy looks and charming smile. He owns a gym, gets into bar fights, and wrestles his demons with rough workouts—both in and out of the bedroom.
For Alyson Road, the future is bright. Life can only improve from where she grew up. She graduated at the top of her law class, cares for her ailing mom, and in her job, she defends those who can’t afford anyone else. Her work is thankless but honest.
Jake’s twin brother has been covering his ass for as long as they’ve been alive, but that all changes when Jake finds himself in front of the fiery public defender, his future in her hands. For the first time ever, he doesn’t want to involve his brother, finally realizing he needs to stand alone, be his own man.
Even if Jake’s never absolved of his past wrongdoings or his heart is never scrubbed of the blackness that resides there, he can do one good deed—protect the beautiful lawyer who touched his soul—until helping her nearly becomes his own undoing.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 1, 2018Format: KindleVerified PurchaseBoth of the Wrigley brothers! Can’t beat that. This is a terrific duet. Both Lane and Jake have troubling issues they are dealing with from their past. And they find comfort in their lovely women but Bess and Aly are not all sunshine and rainbows either. Both of these stories are emotional, romantic and full of feelings. Great writing and characters from this wonderful author.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2017Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis is the first time I read something from this author and I have to say the duet was nice. Two typical love stories about "broken" twins who fine soulence in "broken" girls and together they become whole again.
I thought both books were nicely written. The character devolament was nice and I love how they both had a back story. I do think that the stories were a little rushed and there were alot of secondary charaters that were half devolved; like they were introduced and mention enough to have to be inclured in the end but wasn't.
Overall it you love simple love stories this book is for you
- Reviewed in the United States on September 18, 2017Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI loved both stories so much and they were so different that it wasn’t at all like reading the same book again. Twin bothers, Lane & Jake Wrigley, are definitely two book boyfriends that will stick with me for some time to come!
REDEMPTION LANE
This one is Lane and Bess’s story. They meet under dire circumstances but don’t reconnect for several years. In fact, Bess doesn’t even remember meeting and Lane keeps it a secret for way too long.
Lane is a self-made man who tends to bail his brother out a few too many times and doesn’t have time in his life for one woman. He much prefers to “love ‘em and leave ‘em” as he goes. Bess is a recovering drug addict and alcoholic determined to get thru each day as it comes. She keeps herself busy with a routine and thinks her life is swell.
I enjoyed the way the story progressed and watching the characters develop feelings and deal with life. There were parts that were a little iffy, but overall I just really enjoyed this book and can’t wait for more.
ABSOLUTION ROAD
This is Jake’s story and it was my favorite of the two. I loved watching big, tough Jake fall to his knees for a girl like Aly. These two really stole the show as far as I was concerned. They made my heart beat little faster and I could feel their connection through the pages.
Jake has been coddled for far too long and as he decides to stand on his own two feet and take care of himself, he’s knocked sideways by the public defender sent to help him after he’s arrested for assault. Aly came from nothing and doesn’t expect anything good in her life. She’s strong and independent and fights off Jake’s advances as long as she can.
The drama in this one was a lot more intense than the other, but that made the story so much more exciting. I truly, truly loved everything about this book and can’t wait to find more from this author.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 11, 2022Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis two story book was awesome!! I totally enjoyed reading both these love stories! Great romance with drama and steamy sex scenes.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 26, 2020Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThe story is a journey of two brothers and their significant others. It’s full of drama about their lives. I gave 3 stars because I’m bothered with the use of past tense during a present tense scenario. Describing the person in a “was” situation where the author is describing the present situation is taking away my appreciation on the story. All through 2 books I’m highlighting past tense that should be described as “I am not I wasn’t”; “He is not He was”; “I was putting on some cream instead of I am putting on some cream”. Since we pay the book we expect that it was at least proofread before it was published. This is my first book from the author.

4.0 out of 5 stars Loved these twins.
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis are the first books I've read from this Author and they won't be the last. I loved her writing style and I adored this Duet.
Twins Lane and Jake Wrigley although identical are nothing alike. Lane is the sensible, successful brother whilst Jake is the out of control always in trouble kind.
But they share an unshakeable bond that's never wavered since childhood.
This Duet tells each brothers story, we get to see them struggle with their past and they need to decide whether to let it rule their futures.
Both of them find themselves at a crossroads and they get the chance of happiness with two beautiful women Bess and Aly. if only they can just let themselves feel worthy of love.
These book just drew me in, they were very emotional at times but beautiful too. I had a few laughs along the way, these twins will own your heart, they certainly have mine.
A fantastic Duet. Well worth reading.

3.0 out of 5 stars Just ok
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseYou get two decent books here. They aren't great, but I've read worse.
It focuses on two twin brothers who are quite messed up and the women they fall in love with who are also quite messed up. In my opinion, the plot of the first story is better than the second, but the second couple had more chemistry.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good book
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI loved the story but found it very repetitive. I got a bit bored with Aly and Jake moaning about the same things all the time. But I did enjoy the book.
