Amazing amazing amazing. I liked Porter, don't get me wrong... but Parker was ten times deeper and a hundred times more awesome. Becks was the PERFECT girl for the storyline and for him. She wasn't annoying or bitchy and she most definitely wasn't weak. Some of the twists and revelations in this book had me tearing up from pure sadness and laughing my pants off at other times. Definitely check out this Hale brother, you won't be disappointed.

    I can honestly say I didn’t think I’d like Parker all that much initially. He seemed overly arrogant, as well as the main issue he has in the story is a sore spot for me. I just didn’t expect to like him too much, or even Rebecca honestly. But I quickly fell in love with both characters, to the point they are both currently my favorites out of everyone in the series so far!

    I enjoyed the slightly more complicated back stories both Parker and Rebecca seem to have. Not that Porter and Holly don’t have their own complicated stories, because they do, but I enjoyed the darker aspects to the problems the main characters face both individually as well as together. You can’t help but hope for the absolute best for Parker.

    The only downside to this story, which is really minimal and may not bother someone else, is that I found Holly to be a major bitch in this book. Way more so than she even attempted to be in her own book. She’s a judgmental person, but this book showed that trait to the extreme, which just made me want to slap the crap out of her. However, it made for good tension and really showed how Rebecca is willing to stand her own ground on things. Like I said, nothing major and mostly just a personal dislike. This is still my favorite of the trilogy so far.

    Overall, I highly recommend this book. It was well written, with great characters that show great depth and realism. A wonderful read. I can’t wait to jump into Preston’s story once it comes out!

    David Michael has written us another AMAZING story with Parker, Book Two in the Dick Dynasty. It has everything you want in a book and had me reading it all in one sitting. It had me laughing, crying, cheering for specific people in the book, expecting things to happen and then totally surprised when they didn't.

    When Porter, Book One in the Dick Dynasty ended, I was stunned, shocked, scared and praying for positive in what was to come next. David Michael has developed a story that has touched very close to my heart and my family.

    Remembering what brought you to where you are, what has influenced you and why you do things isn't always easy to swallow, so you make choices that aren't easy for those around you to accept, especially family. Life altering events, huge decisions and commitments are sometimes what are needed to open your eyes and Parker is faced with more than a few of these.

    Meeting Rebecca and realizing how important she is, when least expecting it was really helpful for Parker in this story, for both of them, and things got really interesting and HOT! I absolutely loved how the story developed with her history too. I love how David Pulls me in emotionally.

    Thank you David for an outstanding story. Keep up the fantastic writing.

    Where do I begin with Parker Hale?

    After meeting him in Porter, I got a sense he was your clichéd party boy: making his owns rules and living life without a single care in the world for anyone or anything; including himself. Naturally I thought his arrogance and self-absorbed behaviors would flow into his own story, but boy-o-boy was I wrong.

    Parker is struggling with a life consuming addiction that many people we meet these days are also fighting to overcome. The emotional and physical pain that bleeds from his inner demons are nothing short of heartbreaking and inspiring all at once.

    From the first word penned on the prologue -"Sirens" - I knew Parker was going to be chaotic, breathtaking, and one of the most intensive books surrounding many sorrowful topics I've read so far this year.

    Parker did not disappoint and I am elated he found someone as courageous and forgiving as Becks who not only; believed Parker could be a better man, but she helped him navigate through the turbulence of finding mirth in his music instead of a line while struggling to battle her own harrowing past.

    David, you did a beautiful job guiding Parker along the rocky path towards recovery. Congratulations on finding the strength to tell his story.

    As of right now I think Parker is my favorite Hale brother. I felt David Michael did an excellent job writing the pain Parker had to endure due to his actions. I felt like this was going to be a difficult character to make the reader love because there had to be the perfect balance between using emotional pain as a reason for certain actions while still taking responsibility for said actions. I believe this book did have that balance.

    I wish we had gotten a little more back story on Rebecca, more details on her relationships with her friends, and also to see some more recovery steps taken by Parker but I still found this read extremely enjoyable. Can't wait to read about Preston.

    I loved this book!!!!!!! I have been waiting for it for what seems like forever. After reading book number one I have been impatient to read this one.
    I loved getting to know Parker and Rebecca. They both have a lot of history they need to deal with in order to move on and be truly happy in their lives. This book is full of emotions. It took me on an emotional roller coaster. Happy, sad, angry, heartbroken and even parts that were hysterical.
    I didn't want this book to end but I also couldn't put it down because I needed to know what happened next. This book did not disapoint It sucked me in from the beginning and wouldn't let go.
    This is a book number 2 in the series. If you haven't read book number one I strongly recommend doing so because you will want to know more about the boys.

    Wow, from meeting Parker in Porter's story it was quite obvious the Parker was the rebel of the family. Years of being in trouble for his antics and disappointing his family he finally hits rock bottom. Everyone close to Parker judges him on his past, frankly when they have heard so many times from his mouth that he will change yet doesn't even those close to to him give up hope of him changing.
    Life has a way of throwing people into your life at just the right moment even when they do not willing want to help lol.
    The way that the whole issue and consequences of drug taking was portrayed in this book was brilliant, the capturing of the effects it has on family and friends was heartbreaking and really emotional to read.
    I absolutely loved this book. As I found in Porter the characters are believable and I dare anyone to read these books with out losing your heart to both the storyline and the characters. I'm really looking forward to Preston 's story and I know the wait until its release is going to be torture lol. This series has to be up there as one of my favourites.

    FEELS!!!! This book will give you ALL the feels!! Parker & Becks definitely have a bit more angst and feels in their story, but I think this is where David shines as an author. There is something that will get everybody in the feels. You will most likely laugh until you can't breathe (and possibly pee your pants), you will have watery eyes and a mushy gooey heart, and you may feel like you got kicked in the gut.
    It all comes together on an amazing story that you don't want to miss out on.
    And now we wait, not so patiently, on brother #3, Preston 💜

    If ever there was a trilogy that could make you laugh so hard that you cry, it's the Dick Dynasty Trilogy. I thought Porter #1 was fab but Parker #2 just blew me away!

    Parker has it all, humour, witty banter, hot sex and tears - David Michael has delivered it all. The one liners between Mitch and Beck's are just superb but then David hits you with one of the saddest times I think I've ever read, my heart broke for Beck's but don't despair it all comes good in the end.

    Then we come to the ending and oh boy Parker has totally left me begging for Preston.

    A must read! I promise you won't be disappointed.
