I have read each and every book in this series so far and love them all. But Hunters book has more emotional triggers involved and made me love this extended "family" even more. I love catching up all of the other assassin's and those mates, but I think Silas is the cutest of them all!
Neri and Hunter discover each other but Neri doesn't remember anything past the last four years. Hunter realizes at their first meeting that they are mates. He also realizes that she is a vampire/shifter hybrid and so they aren't sure whether they can actually mark each other with a bite because one species's venom is lethal to the other one.
The assassin's work together to find out who is really behind the company that is trying to kill them all.
I hope Axel gets his story soon so that he can be growly when the other assassins pay him back for flirting with their mates.
