The world is at war, a war determined to involve Eli, whether he likes it or not. Hitler, his dark army of feral vampires, and even the Devil himself, all conspire against Eli, leaving him no choice but to fight back, risking Malachi’s soul in the process.

Eli is determined to find Ethan’s father, no matter the cost to himself or Malachi, and in a place filled with death and unending cruelty, Eli realizes that some truths should remain buried, and some truths are just too terrible to bear. When the old enemy, demons from Eli’s dark past, find him once more, they reveal a secret so impossible, so terrible, that it pushes Eli to the very edge of his endurance. They took his boyfriend from him once, and the secrets that they reveal about the man he once loved threaten to strip Eli of everything that he holds dear, pushing him to the edge of his sanity.

Eli thought that he had nothing left to lose, but at Welwelsburg Concentration Camp, he realizes that he was very wrong.

My name is Sean Kerr, and I am a 47-year-old gay man living in Cardiff, Wales with my husband of almost 30 years, Derek. We have two cats, Rita and Harry, and a host of tropical fish.

I love writing, it has been in my blood since I was a child. It’s a wonderful thing to read a book, to be transported to another world, and nothing gives me more pleasure than reading a new novel, or indeed, starting to write one! When I was eight, my Aunt bought me a copy of Dracula in a jumble sale. That summer, I read that book over and over again, and even now it is still my go to book for inspiration. It fuelled my imagination, and it became a doorway to so many possibilities. Writing is a wonderful thing, for it shows us new worlds and new characters, horror and love, sadness and joy. I love it.

Dead Camp 2 takes up where book one finished. In brilliant fashion. This riveting story, so beautifully crafted by Sean Kerr, will pull you in until the last mind blowing page. If you've already read the first two books I have no doubt that, like me, you will be waiting very impatiently for the next three instalments in this five part series.

The ongoing battle between good and evil, set in nazi Germany, is heart wrenching and heart breaking, but also, surprisingly uplifting. Faith, hope, selflessness, love and compassion in the midst of pure evil reflects the very best of our humanity and Sean captures that beautifully in this book. Angels and demons, vampires and ghosts are at war with each other, and the fate of humanity rests in the hands of a select few. Very little is completely black and white and Sean's plot twists are as unexpected as they are enthrawling.

I don't want to give away any more of this extraordinary story. All I will say is that if you haven't already read these books you should one click immediately. They are that good and that well written! Sean Kerr is a blazing new star in this genre, and one I expect to find at the top of the best seller list as his books become more widely known. He certainly deserves to be there.

Sean Kerr has done it again! Dead Camp 2 is even better than the 1st book in the series! Eli the Vampire and Mal the Ghost have absolutely no memories of their previous lives or of how they came to be what they are. There are many dark lies, and even darker truths that are remembered as the story unfolds. Read their stories and see how their lives are affected by what they remember. Their stories are like the craziest, scariest rollercoaster ride that you have ever been on. The one that while your on the ride you pray for it to end but once it does your sad because it was to short of a ride! This book will put you through every emotion imaginable and leave you wanting more! I'm definitely excited for book 3 to be ready to buy, I Will be one-clicking and reading it immediately! Buy and read these amazing stories you won't be sorry!

I have been captivated from when I first started reading this series. Eli is so lost in his own pain and his journey out is so difficult that you cannot help but hurt for him. In this book you find that Eli has infiltrated the concentration camp in an effort to find and free Ethan's father as well as the prisoners of the camp. The writer does a fabulous job of drawing you in and making you feel the pain that Eli does as he is holding the old man in his bunk as he dies. I cried as Eli tried to save Josef in the showers and his pain and rage when he is not able to. Eli's foray back into the real world from the cocoon he has been living in is so well written that I was unable to put this book down and I am anxiously waiting to see what happens next.

I thought DC Book 1 was amazing, nothing prepared me for the second dose of Eli in his true Vampire form. What power and beauty he showed. Eli showed us he is a force not to be messed with. I never wanted to put this book down for a second. DC 2 had me going through so many different emotions but the one emotion i experienced the most was sadness especially for Mal when he found out the truth about his death. I also felt sad for Eli when he lost a great friend to the "Hot Shower". That is when Eli snapped and we got to see him in all his beautiful vampire form. Cant wait to read book 3. This is one brilliant series that this amazing author brought us. Thank You Sean Kerr for your Beautiful work.

5.0 out of 5 stars Second book as good as the first...

I wasn’t sure whether this would be my cup of tea. I like MM; it is my preferred genre but adding vampires, angels, demons and ghosts to the mix made me think this story might be a bit of a parody. Oh how wrong I was and I devoured the 3 books in one week! Each character is magnificent and there is no real definition between good and evil in any of them. They all have a bit of both and that makes for a compelling read. The imagination and intellect of the author was stimulating on every level and I never thought I be shedding tears in a book like this. Sean’s words are captivating and drew me in to the story so that as each new event unfurled I was on the edge of my seat anticipating the outcome with bated breath. There was suspense, horror, terror, love, joy, passion and drama in every chapter and I loved every single word. Not to mention the black humour and scorching hot sex scenes. Sean Kerr is clever – he has taken the paranormal to a new level of intellect combining everything we have come to expect from MM erotic romance with a bloody good story. The historic elements and depth of research is to be praised. A delightful discovery and highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars History can be a bitch...
Reviewed in Germany on September 23, 2016
I really wish this book would be just some awesome fantasy, written by a very gifted author that is Sean Kerr! Sadly most of it isn’t, its history, it’s the darkest part in German history ever, it’s my history.

Dead Camp 2 with its 179 pages took me almost two weeks to read. Sure I’m not the fastest reader on earth, but it hadn’t been because of that. It was because sometimes I just couldn’t take anymore and I needed time to grief, to understand. I’ve been growing up in Germany in the 70th, sure we had history at school, we knew about all the things that happened then, we even had been in one of those Death Camps and I have seen the furnaces where the corps where burned myself, but at my age it was more like someone told you a once upon a time fairy tale, like Hansel & Gretel by the Brothers Grimm. With Sean Kerr’s book and his gift of very visual writing, Germany’s dark history became flesh & blood; it became faces, voices and names. With every new name there had been another soul abandoned to a horrible fate. It wasn’t like reading Anne Frank or watching Schindler’s list. This book had been intense, very intense and sometimes just too much for me to bear and that’s why I needed lots of breaks and it took me so long to finish. Thru Eli’s eyes I could see and feel the pain, the terror and the desperation.

The fantasy part of the book had not been less intense for me, and the hardest part of it was to lose Malachi. I dearly loved the bubbly ghost; he’d been my Sunshine in all that dark. Malachi, as the camp he was, had been good for more than one hilarious moment in the Dad Camp series. Even though I knew there was a risk to lose Malachi’s soul in the process, I couldn’t believe how things turned out and it left me more than just a bit heartbroken.

Thank God the Dead Camp series isn’t just about Nazi Germany; it’s about a history that reaches back since time immemorial, including heaven and hell, as well as everything between. Sean Kerr is a wonderful story teller and has a very special way with words, or like a friend the other day laconic said; Sean Kerr’s texts should win the Pulitzer!

Wow.. A truly fantastic written book,. Sean does it again with amazing scenes through out the book. The story continues when Eli and Melachi go searching for Ethan's Father, Isaiah. But they go knowing its not going to be easy, would be understatement. Walking into a camp on the side of Hitler cant be good. Can they find Isaiah and get out in one piece for a reunion with Ethan. A recommended book that wont let you put it down.
