Dead in the Pond immediately picks up after the ending in Dead in the Garden. Bishan has just been released from jail after he was arrested as a suspect for murdering a former classmate. It turns out the police arrested the wrong person and now there's a murderous serial killer on the loose killing former classmates and heads of their alma mater. I enjoyed hearing Bishan's POV in the second book as he tries to ease back into a normal routine after weeks in prison. The mystery continues in Book 2 and more bodies start piling up as Valor and Bishan channel their inner Poirot to find the killer before someone else dies! This ends on a major cliffhanger which is where Book 3 comes in. I'm so glad I started reading this series after the last book was released because I would have died waiting! I love this series and it's an amazing mystery-murder whodunnit romance :)

A new author for me, but glad I found this series. Love reading it so far.

This installment of the trilogy definitely pulled on my heart strings! We got to see more into Bish and Val’s relationship and learn more about the creepy killer on the loose! I can’t wait to see how the story ends.

More murder mystery! Bishan and Valor are back, and I have to say that I think I liked Dead in the Pond more than I liked Dead in the Garden (and I loved that book). Nothing is ever easy for these two, and that is only the tip of the iceberg. This book will draw you and before you realize it, you reach the last page. I wasn't ready for it to end for multiple reasons, but luckily, there is a book 3 that we don't have to wait too long before it's released so that we can actually get an ending.

These characters and story are captivating, and I think I bit off more than a couple of nails with this one. Again, if you like suspense, mystery, and amazing characters that are engaging and realistic, then you need to read this book...this whole series. 5 stars!

This book sucked me right in and I read this in one day. I could not put it down.

Val and Bish have been through the ringer and it’s not about to get any better for them. This books picked right up where book one left off. There is a killer on the loose and no one is safe.

We get to see more of Bish and how he interacts and reacts to the friends and family through this stressful time. I totally fell in love with these guys and their relationship. They are perfect for each other and know how to calm each other.

Don’t miss out on installment two. I can’t wait to move onto book 3. I need this killer found.

Who is trying to kill Bish or Valor? Dead bodies keep turning up in book two of this trilogy and of course the obligatory spell with no murders occurs making one more apprehensive that more mayhem will hit at any time. When you least expect it BOOM! Have to read book three NOW to find out if Bish is alright!

I love book 2 as much as I loved book 1! An autistic Anglo-Indian and a disinherited aristocrat may not seem to have much in common, but these two fascinating men have to fight a serial killer to survive.
    A great gay series!

This is the second book in Grasmere Cottage Mystery Trilogy. A captivating book the writing was good. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters likeable. The characters were developed and thought out. Valor Scott and Bishan Tamboli are the MC’s of this book. This one has two cliffhangers as the mystery is not solved and another situation. I can recommend this as a good read. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

Bishan is amazing. I love the vulnerability of the autistic mind and the sharpness behind it. It is a very good story and after that end I need book 3 ASAP!!!
    I highly recommend the series

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Fantastic Story

I absolutely adore this couple, calm, level-headed Val and quirky, autistic Bish, and I can link the word quirky to autism, I have an teenaged autistic grandson and he, like Bish, is at times funny, quirky, sometimes frustrating but always utterly amazing.
The mystery and the murders continue in this next episode. Bish is no longer a suspect, he and Val are now possible victims. The writing continues to be stellar, the plots convoluted, the whole tale is a fun read and we end on a cliffhanger. I'm off to the third and last episode, gonna miss these two and their mixed gaggle of friends and misfits.
